"H-hey hey- it’s okay- it’s not your fault, alright? we're okay, we're here. Its... It’s going to be okay this time, I promise."
Their purpose. Solace had been made to hurt the child, a grotesque reminder of all the people who had cared for them and had died because of it. But he refuses to accept that. He’s been given a second chance. He’s going to make sure that theyre loved, and safe. They deserve it after everything.
A....A HEEM HEEm....... (;へ;)
The Factory worker. He’s tends to be the face for them, talents from his old life good for keeping them coherent. I mean, organizing five strangers in your head to both work your own body and also try and find your collective kid, it’s not that different then trying to organize hundreds of factory workers to organize for the betterment of your working conditions! Right?
To be ripped from his final end, not once, but twice- only to suffer further? Finnegan can’t help but wonder if the universe is playing a cruel joke on him. As a remnant, he’s not sure how to feel about this distorted copy of himself. But he hopes that in the end, he’s able to find their heart again. For the both of them.
The reason he exists in the first place, Solace holds no goodwill toward his creator. He finds them to be a vicious coward, who spends their time punching down to pretend they're better. They're pathetic, and they both know it. He'll end this cycle of suffering, if its the last thing he does.
[Your existence is a joke, you know. You were purely created by *me* to hit where it hurts for that pathetic "child" you collectively care for *so* much. How can you hope to be there for them when the sight of you pains them? Do you really deserve to be their father after letting them down so many times?]
The psychologist turned gang member. Lemon remains elusive, even when sharing a brain with 5 other people. While never keen on divulging his own secrets, his drive to find out more, to dig just a little bit deeper- It keeps Myr. Solace moving. Of course it gets a little bit more complicated than that. Lemon, of course is one of the two people in him with a still living counterpart. One who, at last memory, was still very much looking for the same child they now chase.
What will they do if he finds them first?
Do they deserve to find them?
…
It’s a complicated feeling, wishing for both your own success and failure in the same breath.
Oh. Yikes.
The farmer and the musician. Two versions of the same man, and yet so quintessentially different.
Something so inhuman. It's typical.
The Joker. A Gang Member, Gun for hire, who spent his life trying to have the bigger laugh- but with caring heart in the end. He'd already chased his loved ones across time and space once, so perhaps that prepared him a little more for...this. Still- sharing a brain is 5 other randos- not exactly his idea of of a leisurely time.
are you FUCKING KIDDING ME? THIS AGAIN?
ouch. that was unpleasant. The betrayal still burns a bit, when he looks back.
He seems… nice?? The nicest proxy hes met so far at least. Still something about him twinges, though. Feels… antithetical. Well, they wont worry about it too much, for now...
They met after an encounter with a nice young lady who wore a lot of pink; he's rather nice, yet conflicting fellow for Chestnut to be around
On one hand, being around the creation of his counter part feels sickening in a way, especially after finding out what exactly it was made for. . .
On the other hand, he feels sympathy for the man and circumstances of his situation. It's not like he asked to be created or to feel the oh-so-human pain of losing something loved. .
“tHEY'RE RIGHT HERE, JESUS CHRIST!”
Another one of V’s creations, Myr solace was horrified to find the kid smashed together in another spiteful ploy to hurt Sobble. With their shared circumstance and mutual care for the other Wayward Child, It was only natural that Myr. Solace would take them under his wing(again in the case of flamingo and pidge, but they…don’t need to get into that right now). The two became close quickly, and while phenex is certainly… a handful at times, solace is relieved that despite everything they get to be a carefree kid.
Anyways GIVE HIS HAT BACK YOU RAPSCALLION-
“WHERE ARE MY UPPIEEES!!! >.[” It wasn’t enough to make one to torment the Stray- thus, Phenex was created. Despite the nature of their existence, you can usually find them cheerily skating around into trouble or circling around Myr Solace. Sometimes, they worry about being too clingy -desperate-, but can you blame them? When they have no one else to turn to? To anyone else, they’re this horrible- horrible thing without a place to belong, but perhaps here, they can find a new family. They want to enjoy it while it lasts. (… after all, they’ve learned that the good never stays for too long. But they will still keep hoping it will.)
Headache... Shes flying to close to the sun with this proxy stuff, but He’s one to talk. She's still human though. They... can try and help her keep it that way.
Absolutely funky guy, he SAYS he doesn’t have an epithet, but like, what what that shadow I talked to then? Love to get to know him more!! Maybe he can give me some answers someday too!
is anyone going to adopt this- depressed- teenager??? PLEASE?
not this again...
An invaluable ally- without access to the trains they arent sure how they wouldve made ANY progress on finding Stray. They have some... mild conflictions about the whole thing(fucking TRAINS.) but the conductor himself is real nice- he appreciates their straightforward speaking and regard for safety(helps that hes kind of attractive too(WEREN'T YOU JUST COMPLAINING ABOUT TRAINS) hate the sin love the sinner- whatever, come ON let me FLIRT-).
A dear friend, surprisingly. despite the circumstances the doctor consistantly goes out of his way to make them feel... human. its- its nice. He hopes he can help the guy put back together some of his own pieces, eventually.
