Chestnut's Links
"WATCH OUT FOR THAT F-" -*cRaSH*- "Ffffflower pot."
Chestnut used to run himself ragged trying to protect Litten from any and all danger, feeling rather guilty whenever Litten suffered another inevitable death.
He's since relaxed and stopped being so suffocatingly protective since then. Nowadays, he only prevents active threats and helps Litten clean up after any messy deaths.
He enjoys his time with Litten and loves hanging out with him.
"They're just a child . . "
From taking Sobble out for small adventures to shopping centers or even just getting ice cream, Chestnut does his best to try to cheer up his friend and add a bit of kindness and joy to their life.
Gods above know how much they need that after all they've been through.
"oh, hello again . ." [passive aggressive]
Yeahh, going after and torturing children isn't exactly going to get you on Chestnut's good side.
Tolerates their existence enough, but is not opposed to dropping them on their ass in order to protect someone.
"That's-That's a bit too close now-"
*creates a shield to separate them.*
He's a bit conflicted about them, better to stay away.
"Ahaha, oh, I promise I don't bite!" Admittedly finds it interesting to see a Virtue-aligned incarnate for a change, perhaps if their alignments weren't so opposed their encounters would be a little less tense. Though thankfully Trickster seems to be one of the least hostile Vice-aligned incarnates, just a bit mischievous if anything.
"Not him again."
Treats him with respect and kindness like everyone else, but he has little patience for this greedy capitalist.
"Wakey Wakey?"
Out of all of the proxies, Chestnut has probably interacted with Sloth the least. He doesn't even remember if they've properly met or not, but he knows the devastating power that Sloth possess all too well.
He does not enjoy talking about his counter part . . .
...A Virtue. How curious. I wonder how it feels, the other side. [Sure, it must be nice, but your virtue comes with its own itch to balance it out. We all have it. Does it nag you? Scare you even? We're not human for a reason, we can't be perfect.]
They met after an encounter with a nice young lady who wore a lot of pink; he's rather nice, yet conflicting fellow for Chestnut to be around
On one hand, being around the creation of his counter part feels sickening in a way, especially after finding out what exactly it was made for. . .
On the other hand, he feels sympathy for the man and circumstances of his situation. It's not like he asked to be created or to feel the oh-so-human pain of losing something loved. .
He seems… nice?? The nicest proxy hes met so far at least. Still something about him twinges, though. Feels… antithetical. Well, they wont worry about it too much, for now...
He doesn't endorse or support Lawmaker's beliefs or methods of "justice," be he can respect someone with a strong moral code (even if that moral code has the stability of a pool noodle and bends to whatever Law Maker feels.
He'd like to get coffee sometime with him if he had a free day.
"As they say, things are better in moderation haha."
Slightly afraid of this one, but tries to be friendly and tolerate them like the other proxies.
"Agree to disagree, no such thing as too much of a good thing!"
"Ah, back again so soon, Tyler?"
Acting as the Shark Fighter's patron means he often receives visits from Tyler, or "Sharky" as he likes to be called.
An Odd but nice fellow, despite his favored "past time."
"YO, CHESTNUT!! SUP!!"
One of Chestnut's most faithful and frequent clients.
He often asks for blessings of protection from physical harm . . so he can go fight sharks.
"Good luck out there. May your mind and body be protected always."
A fiery and kind young lady who might be getting in too deep.
After hearing about her plans to find his counter part he gave her one of his strongest blessings of physical protection.
It was the least he could.
This guy is legit the coolest! He was super nice and even answered some of my questions!! It was a major help!! Petty cute too <3 hope we get to hang out again!!
" . . Did someone hear something?"
His method of tolerating her is by staying the hell away from her. Her "garden" makes him sick . .
What a cheerful man, but I don’t believe he enjoys my garden quite yet. That’s alright, he just need time, he’ll understand soon enough
