Background

Naoto, is the lead guitarist for the visual kei band DeathPain, which was formed sometime in the early to mid 2000s (hence his very 2000s look)
he is 21 years old in the main story which is set in the 2000s era, he could be considered the female impersonator of the group as he is always crossdressing and takes pride in being pretty, despite his appearance however Naoto is no delicate flower, he has a rather hot headed personality if you make him mad he will cuss you out. He is the founder of the band along with his highschool friend Koeji they formed the band together after they bonded over the mutual love for music and visual kei in particular. Naoto seems like a lighthearted person with no worries but he actually did not have an easy past his parents died in an accident when he was only 5 years old so he was raised by his older brother Ling who was 15 at the time, he also used to be a victim of bullying growing up because of his girly interests. 

Relationships: 

Koeji

he met Koeji in highschool, at first they seemed like opposites Naoto was rather outgoing and abit popular, while Koeji was a quiet socially awkward loner but they bonded over their mutual love for music and visual kei, they ended up practicing and writing songs together eventually forming their own band and becoming the founders, they searched for others to complete their band afterwards. Naoto has been in love with Koeji since highschool however he did not realize this at the time because he was closeted about his sexuality, only years later in adulthood does he embrace his homosexuality and accepts he has feelings for Koeji, it is his goal to make Koeji all his, he comes across as very forceful and possessive of Koeji, he also likes to sexually tease him Koeji seems to not return Naoto's feelings at first mostly because he feels rather scared of Naoto's forcefulness and does not know if Naoto is genuine or just sees him as somebody to play with but in the end he does return the feelings towards Naoto although he has a hard time expressing himself due to his lack of experience.

Shiray  

Shiray is the vocalist of DeathPain Koeji and Naoto already knew of him even before he joined them as Shiray already was a vocalist in previous band which Naoto and Koeji were fans of so they both felt honoured to have him be their vocalist. Naoto's relationship with Shiray is entirely only work focused and nothing else due to the fact that Shiray is a very distant person and does not hang with the others much, he does end up getting to know him more though after Ling gets involved with Shiray seeing himself as Shiray's "brother in law"

Shuji 

Shuji is the rhythm guitarist of DeathPain Naoto truly does not get along with Shuji at all, Shuji loves to tease Naoto because he knows Naoto is sensitive and easy to rile up, he basically behaves like a troll around him which makes Naoto rage,.

Kayo

Kayo is the drummer of DeathPain, Naoto adores Kayo for being cute since he does love cute things he treats Kayo like a little brother figure he's affectionate and caring towards him, but in an entirely platonic way he just thinks Kayo is adorable and sweet like a child. he also gets along with him in general since Kayo is the nicest one in the band and he shares Naoto's taste in girly things. 

Ling

Ling is  Naoto's older brother they have an age difference of 10 years Ling has raised Naoto since he was 15 years old and Naoto was 5 years old after their parents died in an accident they have a very close bond, Ling really is more like a parental figure instead of a brother due to this, Ling really cares alot about Naoto and can act overbearingly motherly at times often still seeing Naoto as a little kid . Ling is extremely supportive of Naoto's career it was his own idea to manage the band as he truly wanted to help his brother with his dreams. 

appearance: 

Naoto is a young slender androgynous japanese man with gray eyes, he has a very pretty face even without makeup which earned him lots of admirers even when he was in highschool. he has long black hair that he often ties half in pigtails on the top of his head while leaving the rest of his hair down, his bangs are cut in a V or M shape with the left side bleached blonde, he usually paints a red heart on his cheek and wears purple eyeshadow. his fashion is often very punk lolita inspired he loves plaid and the color combo of black and red, he will wear purple sometimes too though.

Personality:    

Naoto has a sugar and spice personality he normally can be very friendly and sweet, he is affectionate towards people he likes however he is also hot headed being easy to anger he will yell and cuss when mad, one thing that earns his anger is if someone else gets too close to his beloved Koeji. he is possessive of people he cares about he is like this with Koeji but also his brother though to a lesser extent but he would feel jealous and upset if anyone shown romantic interest in his brother since he wanted to be the center of his attention he gets over this though once Ling develops a relationship with Shiray feeling that they truly are right for each other. Naoto is sensitive at times he can get melodramatic and overreact. he loves girly things, dresses, makeup, and cute things all make him happy. he is rather juvenile in some ways since he watches shows that are targeted towards kids, and prefers to eat junk food instead of healthy food he actually hates veggies and wont eat them unless Ling forces him to.
