The body/fur typing affects the rest of the traits by choice. EXAMPLE: you can have a crystal skin body without crystal ears, or you can have a fire-covered body with normal peachy ears, so on and so forth mixing and matching this as an overarching trait.

If a trait is marked "Standard" please leave it on their traits list by default unless another trait in the section overtakes the trait.

⚪ Standard Fur (Standard) All bats are standardly fuzzy/short-furred. (Fur on the body is probably no longer than an inch in any given place unless a different trait is combined with this I.E "Longer Fur" Trait.)
The fur can be any natural texture of hair; straight, wavy, curly, thick, thin, wiry, coily, fro-like or "sheepy".


🟢 Neck Tuft (Common) Generally a noticeable poof on the neck of any design or texture. Small "fwips" and curls/tufts are fine, this trait is used for Noticeable larger tufts, rather than a few small puffs close to the neck.
🟢 Plume (Common) Instead of the usual fur, the Cloakat has feather plumage. This affects the tail fur type if wanted/needed. Cannot be used to mimic a leaf tail. This only COVERS the tail/arm type, it does Not change its shape.
🟢 Amphibian Skin (Common) The skin of the Cloakat is slick or smooth in texture with a slight shine, or bumpy like that of a toad if you wish. Can optionally be wet/slimy in texture. This trait cannot be used to mimic other traits. (Most notably cannot be used to look like food/slime.)


🔵 Piñata (Uncommon) The fur is layered and boxy like that of a piñatas. This affects the tail fur type if wanted/needed.
🔵 Edible Parts + Textures (Uncommon) Any body part made of or represented of a food substance. This also includes Cloaks/Clothes that visually look like food.
🔵 Slime Parts + Textures (Uncommon) Any part of the body can be made of Slime.
🔵 Scaled (Uncommon) Speckled scales on skin or all of skin is scaley. Usually for dragon/aquatic-themed Cloakat. This can affect other parts of the body like ears, tail, etc. This affects the tail fur type if wanted/needed.


🟣 Chitin (Rare) The skin is more like that of an insect's exoskeleton and is shiny. This can be either slightly hairy or sleek in texture. This is allowed to be segmented however you want within reason, so long as it still resembles an insect.
🟣 Inanimate Parts + Textures (Rare) Parts that are inanimate objects or materials like being made of plastic, string, yarn, lego blocks, porcelain, etc. This can be used to make toy cloakats or stuffed animal/plushie cloakats as well. You can change things to certain objects so long as it generally still has the "Cloakat Shape" of the part being edited.
🟣 Boba Bits (Rare) Parts of the body are a glass-like container that can hold things like boba, liquid, liquid galaxy (requires animates skin), sparkles, etc. or be empty in appearance. This also includes Cloaks/Clothes that visually look boba-like or boba-filled. Note: Boba filling cannot be changed out to completely overhaul the appearance of a design. Teeth and Tongue cannot be boba. The body part can be filled OR empty if you'd like. Boba filling still abides by other traits like elements, food, and other trait-oriented textures of the species.
🟣 Uncanny (RareThis trait is used for body-horror-style skin. You can use it to make the skin look like flesh/meat, gore, veins, etc. Technically speaking, if you want blood on your Cloakat, just add the "ooze" trait for this! (traits related to eyes are needed to add eyes to this. This trait does not naturally support eyes but DOES support teeth, spikes, burs, veins, etc.)


🟡 Ghost (Epic) Ghost-like skin (partially or fully see-through to a point) or is made of ectoplasm. The Opacity of the Cloakat and where this solid and more transparent skin's look starts and ends is up to you. This affects the tail fur type if wanted/needed. Ghost is naturally a trait that glows if wanted. The Cloakat can go through objects as well. Cloakats with this trait can't use this to mimic other traits.
🟡 Elemental Parts + Textures (Epic) Parts that resemble a certain element or emit said element from them. EX: Fire, Ice, Water, Earth, Plant, Metal Etc. This also includes Cloaks/Clothes that visually look elemental. Stagnant elemental patterns on the clothes tand cloak are fine so long as its not animated.
🟡 Glitchy Parts + Textures (Epic) The Cloakat's body/skin, or parts seem to glitch or pixelize here and there in different ways. This can be from error code or twitching bits. This cannot be used to look like other traits when shifting parts of the Cloakat. The skin can be compared to TV static and has the ability to digitally distort with a particle effect or can have RGB/CYMK outlines and can move/distort. Cloakats with this skin trait need electric powers by default. This is generally for webcore/liminal designs, and can be paired with Mech N' Tech to make glitchy facial interfaces, on its own, it generally won't alter the Cloakat's facial expressions etc.


🟠 Crystal Parts (Legendary) Gem, geode, or crystal-like parts. can be opaque, see-through smooth, rough, etc. You need this trait to make things like the claws or teeth to look more transparent, this or the slime trait. This also includes Cloaks/Clothes that visually look at least 20% or more like crystal in design.
🟠 Ecto-Bone (Legendary) Bone structure surrounded by Ectoplasm. Different from "ghost" because the ghost trait doesn't show the bones like this trait does while this traits texture is also very different.
🟠 Animated Fur (Legendary) The Cloakat has fur that can animate in one way or another. This generally means that spatial textures can swirl around, or be paired with Mech N' Tech and allow the Cloakat to have an animated interface, Can also allow symbols or tattoos to lightly shift, etc. Cannot be used to make an alternate palette, just subtle shifts and changes aesthetically related to the Cloakat. Not compatible with Alt Palette. Not compatible with Blacktop. Not compatible with false eye markings. Not compatible with masked.
🟠 Mech N' Tech (Legendary) Any or all parts of the Cloakat can be tech or mech-like. From "clear craze" to robot/android. Rules: Any parts made to be mech-like have to somehow abide by the rules of each body/power traits section. The face's interface can emote/emoticon, and display messages/images but still has to abide by facial/mouth traits. (This means no eyes! Animated fur is needed for an animated visor.)
🟠 Chimerism (Legendary) A Cloakat that has a palette that is split down the middle where both sides could be vastly different, or subtly. The Cloakat can sometimes have 1-3 total traits different on each side if wished, however, this is not compatible with hivemind/alt palette. Credit to NovaisColddd for this trait Idea.


🔴 Skeletal Remains (Mythic) Unlike Ecto-Bone, The Bat is nothing but bones here. Can be used to make single parts bone-only or multiple parts/all parts.
🔴 Alt Palette (Mythic) The Cloakat has 2 total palettes for its design, including all accessories and clothes (These all stay the same but change to 1 total alt palette) Can allow for both palettes to have 1-3 total different traits between them if wanted, similarly to the chimerism trait. Alt Palette costs extra when requesting a custom. Not compatible with Animated Fur. Not compatible with Blacktop. Not compatible with Chimerism.


⚫ HOLLOW BUNNY (SPRING) The Cloakat has a hollow body that is made of chocolate. this can be dark, milk, or white chocolate (or mixed). The Cloakat can also appear to be smashed or cracked in places if wanted.


⚫ BEACH FLOATY (SUMMER) The Cloakat has a beach floatie-like plastic skin on one or more if not all of its body. This can be solid plastic or see-through plastic. The Cloakat must have the floaty's "seams" and seamline stretch marks.  The blow nozzle is optional, but cannot be in a "weird" place if added. The Cloakat being made of this material cannot be popped with ease as one would expect from this material for the sake of balancing via battles.
⚫ BLACKTOP (SUMMER) The Cloakat sports asphalt-like skin, usually in the same shades as a blacktop/road (light grey to pitch black) where its designs can change according to the chalk it uses on itself. The Cloakat can draw/write different words/patterns etc. on itself and can be washed off with water or smudged by the hand. The patterns must look like they're made of chalk and be a canon chalk color (basically whitish or pastel colors) The patterns are totally up to you, and you can mix different asphalt colors for different parts of the body if you want. You can also make only SOME parts of its body asphalt if you want. Not compatible with Animated Fur. Not compatible with Alt Palette.


 PATCHWORK (FALL) The skin has patches and a stitched pattern. The skin can be either stitched cloth as if like a voodoo doll or a Frankenstein's Monster-like undead skin.
⚫ SCARECROW (FALL) This trait can work in 2 ways: The Cloakat looks like it's made of straw/has a straw texture. - or- The Cloakat looks like it is made of cloth/burlap and is stuffed with straw. It can have singular parts MADE of straw if wanted (like only the tail, for example) and can also have patches of different clothes on its body if wanted.
⚫WICK (FALL) The Cloakat's skin seems to be made of candlewax and drips a little. It sports 1-3 lit wicks somewhere on its body, by default it is 1 wick on the head. It seems to forever burn and drip wax while not losing body mass. Can be any color so long as it's slightly shiny in texture, does not look furry, drips wax, and has a wick.


⚫ GINGERBREAD PARTS (WINTER) The Cloakat can have parts or its whole body made of gingerbread cookies. Their frosting patterns can be any you like. They can have other gingerbread things on/attached to them like gumdrops, gram crackers, candy canes, M&M-like candy (non-logo), and other traditional gingerbread candies. The Cloakat can also look cracked/chipped in texture if wanted. The candies on its body have to stay consistent and cannot be changed.
⚫ SNOWMAN (WINTER) The Cloakat appears to be made of snow. For ease of technicalities in fights, the Snowman skin cannot be melted but can eternally drip or dust snowflakes off. Fire attacks WILL technically hurt it, however. The snowman-like skin cannot change shape. They can have these optionally if wanted: A carrot nose, Wooden arms (Arms/claws ONLY) , Coal pieces on the body to make patterns (You can make coal eyes, but the eyes cannot animate/move), Other traditional snowman things like a scarf, pipe, or hat if wanted (hood still required)
 WREATH (WINTER) The Cloakat has a wreath-like tuft of fur surrounding its neck with different accessories on/in the wreath. This can be used to spawn thematical items to the Cloakat.
