About
Son a freightership's captain. He grew up in space, just him and his father, and they both thought they were awfully important from start to finish of their joint career (something Ursen's father allowed the boy to think early on and truly perpetuated itself into adulthood).
Nepotistic career in place, Ursen promptly ruined all of him and his father's hard work and got a wild itch he couldn't control: he wanted more freedom, and he wasn't sure if he really wanted to be a freighter captain himself. He wanted to explore beyond the same few stopping points, he wanted to deliver things other than space grain and self-sealing stembolts.
While he did say his goodbyes to his father, he didn't tell him exactly what he was going to get up to, and quickly found himself stuck in space, quite a bit of lightyears away from the nearest station. It was the only time Ursen felt not-so-tough, out all alone with the prospect of death looming. Fortunately, he was found in just a few days time, and sent to the nearest station and fixed up. Yes, his father was comm'd and told the situation, but there was no scolding or frustrations. Even now, Ursen seems to always have approval from his father, despite the lifestyle he's fallen into...
He is a bit of a brat thanks to his rearing in youth, but he doesn't see it that way-- what Ursen sees in himself is a guy that likes getting into trouble and asserting his badassery and coolness.
Underneath it all he's a bit of a softie, but boy does it take quite a bit for him to let that be shown.
An important aspect of Ursen's life now is being Talon's mate. Some people- despite knowing them both quite well- aren't sure they're even a couple until they see their kids... They used to be known around the station for their rapid-fire arguing heard several levels away.
As much as Ursen longs for his adventures he barely got to start in, he can't justify them now that he found himself a family and grew into it quickly. This isn't to say he's stayed on the straight and narrow, but rather... What most find adventurous isn't good enough for him. He always comes back home with enough Credits to last his family a few good months, not barring Talon's own income.
Yeah, he said he wouldn't become a freightership captain, but hey, at least this ain't your average cargo...!

Trivia
- He used to grow out his hair to ridiculous lengths, and found it freeing when cutting it extremely short. Now long hair bothers him greatly, and he is hyper vigilant of its length.
- Obsessed with meynak'ra: space-faring feral creature specialty, served hot with lettuce.
It is.. not to everyone's tastes, his family's included (he orders it when by himself).

Before, he considered himself a jack of all trades. Truthfully he wasn't too good at anything... at all (maybe boasting? yeah... boasting). - More or less poly. Hasn't met the right someone else to discuss it with Talon.
