Profile

Valentine's Baby Batch 2022 (The Ranger / Amenadiel)

Marisol was raised in the Village, but she spent her childhood dreaming of the day she’d get to leave. She caused quite a bit of trouble, but she never made a mess she couldn’t fix.
Her magic manifested when she was very young, during the first duel she ever experienced.  She’s been fascinated with her own power ever since.
When she came of age, she left for West Ridge, head filled with all the stories her fathers told her. No kidnappers messed with her once she used her magic to transform one into a kit.
While she is a bounty hunter, she’ll take bounties from anyone- including outlaws. She’s on no one’s side in West Ridge.

Involvement

Wild West

A young Marisol meets The Ranger at Rattler’s Cross to be taken back to his world. She meets the other adventurers and tries to help where she can, even though The Ranger tries to keep her in the town. She joins her new family and moves into the Village, where she spends the rest of her childhood.

Cyberpunk Carnival

Marisol takes her father’s place in the search for the nest, albeit for more selfish reasons - primarily, she goes to hunt her brother Remiel, who has a large bounty in West Ridge even though he no longer lives there. She meets the naive Gabriel Mayne instead, who she immediately recognizes as Gereon’s son. She offers to introduce Gabriel to him, but doesn’t elaborate much about him. As her quarry eludes her, she becomes increasingly frustrated at Gabriel’s attempts to befriend her. Despite losing her brother in the confusion of the blackout, she manages to help find the nest, and even acquires an aurusalkar egg for herself. She decides to hang onto it and sell it to Gereon for a tidy sum and a future favor, and makes good on her offer to introduce Gabriel to him.

Stormchaser

At Gereon’s request, Marisol and Gabriel head for the village to introduce Gabe to her pa. Their journey is interrupted by a strange storm. Marisol is swapped with an alternate version of herself who is much more personable and mild, and madly in love with Gabriel’s alternate self. She swaps back when the storm ends, and meets up with her pa and the alkarnabi Vasily. The group returns to the village to decide on what to do about the lingering effects of the storm. When she finds out her brother Raymond was pulled into a tear, she swears to do whatever it takes to get him back.
