Profile

Valentine's Baby Batch 2022 (Soren / Orient)

The son of Soren and Ville, Marsh had a happy childhood in the Village. He was often teased by the other kids - namely Marisol - but it was never bad enough to hurt his feelings. He always had an interest in baking, and dreamed of opening a little bakery in the Village for all of his friends and family to rest at after a long day’s work.

However, when he was a bit older, agents working under orders of Aurion found the Village. While they were initially searching for Soren, they found Marsh instead. He was kidnapped as a means to blackmail Soren into returning to Aurion…

… but as Marsh spent more time on the Island, he discovered he enjoyed the sea air and all the new people to meet. He grew especially close to Saiph, the princess of the Island. As the two spent more and more time together, rumors of their romance reached Right Star Mintaka, Saiph’s father. He disapproved of the union, mainly out of spite for Soren’s “betrayal”. But Saiph and Marsh continued to pursue their friendship, and eventually, their romance bloomed.

When Soren and the other Villagers arrived to rescue Marsh, he elected to stay of his own volition. He promised to visit as often as possible, but he didn’t want to leave Saiph. His family respected his choice, even though Soren worried for his son’s safety, and allowed him to stay on the Island.

Being an aurubi, Marsh is treated well by the Islanders, but as he is not of Aurion’s blood, he’s not given the same level of special treatment as her children. He doesn’t mind, though. In fact, he enjoys being given the freedom to be the Island’s favorite baker without worrying about being seen as acting beneath his station. Even Mintaka has to admit he makes amazing pastries.
