Bitûn

Bit is the adopted son of a lowly medic, a position that holds little prestige in the rough world he lives in... He sometimes helps his father with his work when asked, but rarely can keep up with the particulars, more inclined to assist with cleaning or sterilizing tools, to the dismay of his intelligent father.
Since he's so naive and not the most keen, he takes life fairly flippantly. He's good at compartmentalizing away the bad to keep his attitude sweet and genuinely kind. And, despite his sweet demeanor, he is kind of a prude (understatement)... But that's more about the way dog-people raise their children. When he was adopted by his pa, he very quickly learned coming off pure and proper was a true way of life that aligns with staying kind in appearances.

Even though he's very amiable to keep on everyone's good side, Bit has a strong sense of individuality deep down, but doesn't want to be shamed of it and pushed away, which often makes him appear more shy than he is. He'd much prefer to come off subservient than ever upset someone (which also fits with being proper, most importantly). Losing control of his personage rarely, if ever happens.

Since he grew up in rough circumstances, he adores being pampered in any capacity and can never say no to soaking in a warm bath, on account of not having them often enough even after being adopted by his pa. Same goes for receiving gifts of any kind; the littlest trinkets can't be as awe-inspiring as the most extravagant jewels, of course, but still, he'd accept either with the same amount of gratitude and keep his giddiness to himself.
