Shin Kurokan (Illegal Love AU)

Shin is...

Backstory

Shin was born in a neighbouring country; one that greatly celebrates love and holds the exact opposite view of love than the country the AU takes place in. Shin was abandoned in illegal love country with his sister, as children.

 Shin,   being older, simply couldn't adjust to the country's laws, often   getting in trouble with the law for speaking out against their laws or   acting violent. It was when they were threatened with the procedure  that  Chrono had done to him that Shin learnt to shut his mouth. They  were  split up and assigned jobs; Shin became an officer.

Luckily,   immigrants are not granted assigned partners. However, in this  country,  the job he was assigned was a punishment in itself. 

With  every  piece of paperwork that outlined the crime of 'illicit  relationships',  or 'possession of banned material', it only reinforced  the idea in  Shin's mind - It can't stay like this. I can't let Hanayo have this kind of life. I can't sit by and let this happen.

Shin   built himself up in the ranks by dealing with regular crimes as much  as  he could, often 'accidentally' losing 'criminals' who were guilty of   'illicit relationships', or secretly destroying reports of such   relationships and helping people not get caught or escape the country,   saving up money so that he too could take his sister and run back to   their own country. 

One day, to try and get to the bottom of the   mystery of all the missing crime reports and documentation, a private   detective is hired. Shin looks up from his desk at the newcomer with   contempt; If you get in my way, I won't hesitate to...but then his gaze falls upon Remn, and his heart skips a beat. Love at first sight for the man that's trying to stop him.
