"Drink again, 'cause everyone forgets / In the land of broken promises"
Zero is a determined, tired looking man. He finds that not much seems to bother him anymore, having seen what he's considered more than enough when it comes to the things people can do to each other. Despite what he has seen, he tries to stay optimistic, often offering his services free of charge to people who need it, and spending much of his time helping others. There is a grim determination in him, it seems, to keep the new town he has come to as peaceful as possible.
Notable History
Early Life
Zero's parents were doctors. He remembers growing up and watching them take care of others, sometimes helping out when he got old enough to begin using his abilities. They taught him the importance of taking care of others, no matter what. He does not remember all of his early childhood, but finds these blurry memories of helping his parents comforting.
Adolescence
Zero took to studying under his parents, learning rather quickly that he was a natural in healing others. His passion only grew as he got older, and soon he was begging his parents to allow him to travel to learn more about healing. They eventually relented, allowing him to travel with a trusted collegue. They soon became a fully realized doctor at a suprisingly young age, and was incredibly proud.
Adulthood
Now an adult, Zero happily threw themself into their work. They tended to focus their efforts in rural areas, offering assistance to those who may need it most. However, a small war broke out in his home town, quickly taking him back to help with taking care of the wounded. He began to lose patients, unable to heal one before the next dozen rolled in. It became nearly overwhelming to him, as he felt that the side he was helping may be right in their battle, but disapproved of how the battles were planned internally. To him, it felt like people were dying in vain. Eventually it simply became too much for them. They quit, deciding that they did not want to have someone tell them who they could and could not save. They began to wander again.
Zero met his first love as he travelled. They had come to him for help, and they soon got along. He decided to settle down in the town with him, happy to stay where he was. Unfortunetely, in the end, he could not save them when it mattered. Just a small accident took them away. Overcome with guilt, they began to travel again.
As the years passed, Zero realized that running from their past would not bring others back. He began to look for somewhere to settle again, resigning himself to simply helping others, and not turning their back to avoid getting hurt. They found the small town of Sankt Dimas then. The town had lost its last doctor recently, and Zero took the chance to fill in for the town. Although he could tell they did not trust him at first, he kept a friendly face and offered his help for free to the small town. He has even made some friends.

The blood element is one of two types of change elements. Blood is known as a healing element, one that takes advantage of and encourages the natural functions of the body. It can speed the body healing itself, as well as fast-forward and rewind growth. Blood is the opposite of marrow.
BALANCE
LOSS
GAIN
The marrow element is one of two types of change elements. Marrow represents adaptation and change against the natural order of things. Marrow users are often shapeshifters, between either set or various forms and they shift with emotion. Marrow is the opposite of blood.
CYCLE
HIBERNAL
AWOKEN
The clay element is one of two types of progress elements. Clay species absorb fysa and tend to be aggressively adaptive, changing their bodies over time to encompass new abilities. Clay is the opposite of alloy.

STRUCTURE
POTENTIAL
Beast Form
Beast Form is a part of the Cycle Aspect of the Marrow Fysa. All leyr start with this fysa.
This is a passive fysa. Transformation occurs when an individual is experiencing high emotion or stress, and is meant to be a defense mechanism against attack. Some users keep a tight hold on their emotions, while others who prefer their beast forms purposefully put themselves into un-ideal situations to trigger the magic. Beast form is normally roughly 2 feet taller than the size of the user, but this is a soft limit depending on build and other factors (and you can use less if you'd like).
Transformation can also occur in meditative states, or in strong exposure to magic. Consuming pure magic to change is not recommended, as magic has a tough strain on the body.
Once transformed, users can choose when to return to humanoid form.
Universal Donor
Universal Donor is a part of the Loss Aspect of the Blood Fysa.
This is an active fysa. Users can alter their blood to be universal to all creatures of Orrison, whether a sentient species or simply fauna. They are not easily affected by blood loss- they can produce inordinant amounts of blood in a short period of time, and it would take several days of constant drain to completely bleed a Universal Donor user dry.
Additionally, if the user has Regeneration, any body parts or organs they regenerate are seamlessly accepted to other bodies if donated.
Lastly, any blood donations, organ donations, or body parts the user accepts can be accepted without fear of rejection.
Abatement
Abatement is a part of the Loss Aspect of the Blood Fysa.
This is an active fysa. Users can take a portion of another's pain to share it and make it easier to endure. It is up to the user to decide how much pain to take-- from 20-80% of it.
Users can also inflict their pain onto others with a touch. They can only give 20-80% of their own pain.
Speaker
Speaker is a part of the Potential Aspect of the Clay Fysa.
This is a passive fysa. Users can talk to fauna and flora, inherently understanding the communication of lesser sentients.
Adaptation
Healing is a part of the Gain Aspect of the Blood Fysa. This is an active fysa. Healing other creatures takes great practice and care. A user must become extremely familiar with their physiology and body, and have a lot of exposure to the other species. A user can encourage another's body to mend itself using magical energy and its own resources (fat & muscle), but again pushing a body past its limits will spend flesh to grow flesh, and the person being healed can die of malnutrition. A creature which undergoes healing often needs lots of rest and food. The older a wound, the more it resists healing. Magic returns bodies to what their 'normal' should be, and the body accepts old scars as normal after a time, including conditions from birth. -Minor Injuries: cuts, abrasions, bruises A few minutes of concerted effort. -Moderate Injuries: lacerations, broken bones, punctures A few hours of concerted effort- if rushed or not concentraring, bones may need to he reset with a clean break, extending the heal time. -Severe Injuries: old injuries, infected wounds, regrowth of amputation A week to a month, a few hours each day. Those being healed can only be healed for a limited time a day, otherwise their magic eats up their bodies and they could malnourish themselves. A hand would take about a week. A whole limb a month. -Critical Injuries: organ failure, brain damage, spinal injury Fatal wounds are difficult to heal and the patient must be stabilized before they can be healed.
