Alex often chooses to put on a "jerk" persona, and has done it for so long that he can't really tell who he is anymore. In high school, he taught himself not to care, as he thought it would hurt his rising popularity. He doesn't put a lot of value into relationships, and thinks that getting too invested is weak. He dislikes travelling after his childhood, and he would much rather have a predictable life. Random or unpredictable events make him extremely stressed. Alex is 5'8" and 160 lbs. He is stocky and muscular, and has very strong arms due to lots of heavy lifting work. He has scruffy, light red hair that has been brushed back out of his face, light amounts of facial hair, and very pale skin. There are a few freckles around his eyes. He mostly wears layered shirts, with a grey long-sleeved baseball tee under either a blue hoodie or button-up shirt. He has a black and green Paracord bracelet around one wrist, and a small black ring with green stones inlaid in it. His left ear is pierced, and he has a small scar on his cheek that he got when he was younger.

Alex was born in San Francisco, when his parents were visiting the United States. He lived in North America for the first year and a half of his life, as his parents, as they decided to keep travelling with their newborn baby. His parents had an affinity for travel, and most of their time and money was spent travelling the world. As such, Alex never really had a "home" growing up. Since he was never really at home, his parents relied on online education and homeschooling. However, when sophomore year rolled around Alex begged to go to to an actual high school. So, his parents sent him to a boarding school in Ireland, as they were citizens of the UK. He went there from sophomore year to senior year. In his senior year, he took a liking to a boy named Felix. While initially Felix wasn't interested at all, once Alex convinced him that he wouldn't break up with him for being transgender he agreed. However, he still considered himself to be heterosexual. They had a pretty terrible relationship, Felix was a little too clingy and Alex didn't care enough. However, once "the incident" occurred, Alex was shocked. He claimed that Felix had lied to him, and he broke up with him right after because he "couldn't trust him anymore." He graduated, and moved back to the United States to become a chef.
