The Great Thief Kiro!!! Back from the actual dead to continue their stupendous heists, a literal phantom thief if you would. This fantastic rogue from the Victorian Era disappeared off the face of the planet in the middle of a big heist. Centuries later, during the 21st century, Kiro makes a comeback... only to find that nobody remembers them?! After their huge disappearance, they were presumed dead and slowly faded from society's mind. No matter, they would just have to build their reputation up from the ground again, now as the great Phantom Kiro.

After spending centuries at Sheol.Corp as a mytmi, Kiro was finally summoned and possesses some 22 year old kid named Terra, effectively taking over their life. While maneuvering life as Terra, Kiro continues their life like usual working at their family owned antique shop.

About

A famous thief who lived and died during Victorian times, is revived but forgotten in the modern era; Kiro's goal is to make a name for himself once again. While living as "Terra", Kiro acts sly and discreet so as not to attract unwanted attention. Otherwise, the thief always carries a sly smile on their face and a weird trick up their sleeve. Their number one rule of importance for a rogue such as themselves is to never reveal their true intentions or feelings. When carrying out their role as a thief, they allow themselves to dial the dramatics UP. As a mytmi, they radiate little gremlin energy.

Before Death - the Victorian Era

Nobody knows where Kiro came from or who his original identity was, all they knew was that one day a calling card came in announcing the arrival of "Kiro the Great Thief" and then the heists began. Each heist was mysterious, grand, better than the last. It was as though they were meticulously planned and executed like a grand show. They became the talk of the city. People flocked in the streets and stuck their head out the windows in hopes of catching a glimpse of the one and only Kiro. All radios were turned on to listen to the exciting adventures of Kiro as it was reported in real time. The thief had even gained a special persistent pursuer outside of typical law enforcement, some vigilante by the name of Strigi. On the night they first encountered each other, Kiro went out of his way to lead and tease her around, borderline flirtateously. Perhaps his continous teasing was why she became so persistent in capturing him specifically, but the thief quite welcomed the challenge. She was athletic and cunning enough to keep up with him, but he'd always outsmarted her or was more acrobatic by an inch ahead of her. Life was grand- surrounded by riches and bathed in attention, for the great thief- until of course, tragedy struck. Perhaps it was "fate", perhaps he'd become overconfident and it was just the natural course of hubris. In the midst of what was supposed to be his most ambitious heist of all, he plunged to his death alongside Strigi and was never to be seen again.

Hell - Sheol.corp

Kiro could never accept that they had died. That's why he joined Sheol.corp without a moment's hesitation if it meant one day he'd be summoned back to the living world. He simply underestimated how long it'd be until he was and what the state of the world would be at that point.

Revival - the 21st Century

When Kiro was finally summoned, they came to in a cramped dusty room filled with clocks, antiques, and other old items. The great thief had returned! But in less than a day, the truth of reality would hit them... Whoever it was that had summoned Kiro was a 22 year old college dropout named Terra Antiq, and they were in their family owned antique store. The era they were summoned to was vastly unlike that of the Victorian era with all these new strange conceptions and improved automobiles and whatever this "internet" was.. but the worst of all was that nobody remembered them?! Whatever shock it was that befell Kiro however didn't last long. Because here they were with a new life and body in the living world. They still had their smarts and their charisma, all they'd have to do was start over. They'd force the people to remember who the great thief Kiro was. In fact, this was a thief who'd returned from the dead. The debut of Kiro the Great Phantom Thief, or Phantom Kiro, had started!

Terra [ host ]

The kid Kiro ends up possessing and whose life he continues to live as for a "cover identity". Because the two share a bit of a "parasite and host" relationship and cant exactly interact much, the thief holds little emotion towards Terra. Obligated gratitude for having given up their body and summoning him for sure, but after spending some time living as Terra, Kiro develops a mild interest for the kid (but in the way an apathetic god might pity a weak mortal). As part of his obligated thanks to Terra, Kiro does well to care for their physical health and vows to make the most of this second chance.

Strigi [ pursuer ]

A match made in hell. Kiro's greatest rival and pursuer even after death. As enemies did, Kiro shared a hostile relationship with Strigi, but the little vigilante also proved to be a source of great amusement for the thief. He was fond of the games of chase they had over the rooftops all the while teasing her, and she provided a more fullfilling challenge than local law enforcement did. Strigi's revival brought forth a sense of exasperation and shock from Kiro, but on second thought, was unsurprising. If anything, it was relieving even to see a familiar face in an unfamiliar era.

However Kiro's relationship with Strigi in the 21st century would become somewhat more complicated. The previously serious vigilante who made claims of catching the thief in the name of justice, still made such claims.. but it was quite clear she had changed greatly. Somewhat intimidated by her new intensity, Kiro is also fully aware of her changed demeanor and "infatuation" towards him. In the Victorian era, the thief had frequently teased the vigilante to see an assortment of reactions from her (a cocky reply back, hardened expressions, more aggressive chasing, or in very rare cases a flustered look). But now in the 21st century, Kiro's teasing only seems to encourage Strigi (a wide smile and thanks, an equally teasing reply in return), throwing the thief for a loop. At this point, Kiro is unsure whether Strigi actually intends to catch him or if she actually just enjoys the chase. (The two's relationship holds romantic subtext, but whether they actually share a genuine romantic interest in each other is ambiguous)
