Strigi the (self proclaimed) Divine Punisher. Back from the dead as an [angel???] to continue pursuing the great Phantom Kiro. In her original life during the Victorian Era, Strigi was a vigilante dead set on catching Kiro the Great Thief. She disappeared with him mid chase during what was proclaimed to have been Kiro's most ambitious heists. Upon dying and spending time in the afterlife and returning from the dead in her new form, she's truly convinced she's been resurrected as an angelic being and that she was called upon by the Heavens itself to continue her mission.

About

A vigilante who lived during Victorian times- always on the scene wherever Kiro the Great Thief appeared- but died alongside him during a chase. She was revived shortly after Kiro was and continues her mission to pursue them in the modern era; Strigi's goal is to capture the thief and finally deliver centuries due justice. Although she has always been persistent in her pursuit after Kiro, it seems her time in the afterlife and her revival as an angelic being has warped her personality further. Upon being summoned, whatever unlucky and foolish soul to have summoned her by chance effectively "disappeared" from society, as Strigi spends her day to day activities lurking on top of high buildings in search for Kiro's new secret identity. She often makes dramatic monologues dressed in holy words and verses.

Before Death - the Victorian Era

Not much is known of Strigi's origins, most of Victorian society grew to know her mostly as Kiro the Great Thief's greatest rival and pursuer. The start of her "career" as a vigilante was successful, picking off groups of criminals here and there, but one night, she came across Kiro during a heist and set her eyes on him ever since, a "love at first sight" moment as people liked to joke. The thief had led her on wild game of chase that night, all while teasing her, borderline flirtateously. From then on, the only person Strigi became intent on capturing was Kiro- intent on delivering justice for his crimes and ending his long thieving streak. Their cat and mouse games became one of the most anticipated thrills of the city, as citizens would turn on their radios, peek out their windows, and mill the streets in hopes of witnessing their chase on the rooftops.

Strigi the vigilante was known to be a very serious, almost militaristic soul- aggressive, athletic, and cunning enough to keep up with Kiro but just not enough to actually capture him. Though as serious as she was, she believed in abstract concepts such as "fate and destiny" and believed it was the world who had brought them together like this. Perhaps it was also this "fate" that had the two of them plunging to their deaths together, amidst what was supposedly Kiro's most ambitious heists ever.

Hell.. Heaven? - HFA Cult

Although Strigi had done genuine good as a vigilante at first, as she continously pursued Kiro to no avail, she grew relentless and acted harshly within her own set of laws and ideals. Their cat and mouse games that had once been a fun show for the city grew dangerous; Damages occurred and people were hurt in collateral due to her actions. She refused, however, to believe that she- a purveyor of justice- belonged in Hell. She refused to believe she had died without accomplishing her goal to capture Kiro. That's why she joined Sheol.corp, for another chance to be reincarnated, and that's why, she was immediately lulled by the sweet words of the HFA Cult, a group of mytmis who believed they were angels of heaven and there was a secret heaven in hell. Her head was filled with the words of the "holy and divine", she devoted herself to worship. This place was no Hell.. no, surely, it had to be Heaven.

Revival - the 21st Century

When Strigi would next open her eyes in the living world, she came to in the middle of a bloody ritual circle- in a dark empty room lit only by an old TV screen. The contraption unfamiliar and strange to her, broadcasted voices and noise like a radio did but flickered magically with moving pictures as well. Almost as though fate had timed it, she heard the name "Kiro" come from the box. A thief who had successfully pulled off a heist three nights ago announced themselves as "Kiro the Great Phantom Thief" and claimed to have returned from the dead. Strigi had bided her time well in the afterlife, even after centuries, destiny had decreed it was her right to capture the thief- no, it was the Heavens and God itself! In a surge of emotion, she destroyed the strange talking box and laughed hysterically with glee, gazing upon her angelic reflection in the broken glass shards.

Although it may have always somewhat been in her nature to begin with, Strigi's time in the afterlife with the HFA Cult for so long warped her personality and ideals. She speaks grandly of justice and heavenly decrees, and insists her goal to capture Kiro is of a much higher duty, but it's unclear as to what this "divine justice" actually means and if she actually remembers her true purpose in capturing Kiro. Perhaps there had once been a time where her sense of justice was pure and she wished to help people by capturing those who did harm, but whatever that desire was has devolved into a perverted sense of justice and delusional obsession for one thief.

Phantom Kiro [ target ]

A match made in hell. Strigi's greatest rival and foe. Strigi's goal in both of their lives has always been to capture the thief. However it's unclear if she actually remembers what her original purpose was anymore. As a vigilante in her original life, she's always claimed her quest was in the name of justice. Although she makes the same claims (albeit dressed in fancy religious words now) in her "new life", the strong desire to pursue the thief has warped into an obsessive "infatuation" of sorts.. deep within her subconscious, she simply has fun still chasing Kiro around more than anything. (The two's relationship holds romantic subtext, but whether they actually share a genuine romantic interest in each other is ambiguous)
