KestrelClaw

KestrelKit was born with his brother LotusKit, to their parents FlyPounce and CrookedStem. His father, FlyPounce, was TaigaClan's deputy at the time. When the two toms were born, they were badly ill, and FlyPounce lost interest in them and did not take them as his descendants. Fortunately, CrookedStem cared for her kittens immensely, and when they were able to become apprentices, the disease eventually withered away . His father took him as his own apprentice, FlyPounce was stern and never praised him for anything. It was a stressful time for KestrelPaw, but he managed to get through it thanks to his friends SnakePaw and PoppyPaw.

When the time came for him and his brother to become warriors he was given the name KestrelClaw, the same day KestrelClaw was appointed deputy of TaigaClan. His brother, LotusStrike was incredibly jelous and started treating KestrelClaw poorly. Meanwhile his best friend SnakeBreeze had found love with a she-cat called RootWillow and the two were expecting kittens. While KestrelClaw was incredibly happy for his best friend KestrelClaw was missing that love himself. Both KestrelClaw and PoppyPrance were madly in love with each other but PoppyPrance always turned down his advances stating she felt as if she would devastate him when she joined StarClan.

There was one cat in particular, ThistleJay, with whom KestrelClaw never got along with. But ThistleJay always admired his father FlyStar. One day, when KestrelClaw returned to the camp, FlyStar was waiting for him, and he started yelling at him for seemingly no reason. This was also heard by CrookedStem, who stood up for their son. Something snapped in FlyStar and he murdered CrookedStem that very night. Her lifeless body was thrown down the leader's den which was situated on a lege, her lifeless body landed with a thud on the ground. This woke up the whole clan and the first one at the sight of the body was KestrelClaw, who felt it was his fault. From that point on his father was a ticking time bomb. Once, while patrolling around TaigaClans territory he found strange gloomy lights that led him to a strange hole in the ground, and when he crawled through the hole, he found himself in a strange dark forest, where he met a strange, emaciated tom named Mushroom(Paw).

One day, a great flood swept through TaigaClan territory and no one else but TaigaClans leader himself suffered a fate of drowning. It was time for KestrelClaw to become the new leader of TaigaClan.

As the new leader of TaigaClan, KestrelStar had to deal with all the problems his father had left behind when he died. His love, PoppyPrance, joined StarClan a long time ago, and SnakeBreeze and RootWillow had their litter of kittens together. His brother had been exiled and huge problems had occurred. KestrelStrar had such problems with the clan he did not choose a new deputy, there was no one to whom he wanted to entrust this burden with. He felt it would be cruel to whomever would be chosen.

Under his rule, the clan only flourished but there was that one cat that had been swept under the rug... ThistleJay hated KestrelStar and wanted to get rid of him, he felt KestrelStar was an embarrassment to FlyStar’s legacy. So ThistleJay commanded a rouge, SporeWhisper, to murder KestrelStar. That evening there was a duel between the leader and the rogue. The rogue won. ThistleJay buried his teeth and claws into SporeWhisper who was already exhausted from the battle with KestrelStar and he killed him. ThistleJay believed he would be seen as TaigaClans hero and appointed leader since there was no deputy but little did ThistleJay know the battle over power wasn’t done.

When KestrelStar arrived in StarClan two familiar she-cats awaited him. His love PoppyPrance and his mother CrookedStem gave him a tenth life telling him his time was not yet. He resurrected which shocked the whole clan to its core, especially ThistleJay who thought SporeWhisper had killed off KestrelStar completely. Not knowing ThistleJay had planned the whole thing, he appointed him deputy after killing the cat that tried to kill him. KestrelStar thought ThistleJay was strong enough to handle the burden of being deputy.
