I really love the old theme you got going on with him, he's so silly it's fucking funny and cool at the same time, I rly love historical stuff n this is sick
I'm fascinated by his core belief that "life is inherently unfair," and his resulting philosophy. It makes his indifference so understandable, even when it's frustrating. At the end of the day, he's just tragically, exhaustingly convinced that no one is coming to save him or anyone else. It's a brilliant character motivation! Plus, his character arc is one of the best I've read: to see him go from a traumatized boy who refuses all obligation to a theatre professor who finds joy in mentoring....it's just 😩👌
Thank you so so much! As someone who was told she was horrible and a bxtch for not taking care of others, I find it incredibly cathartic to connect with a character who enjoys life without being a caretaker, and who can set and enforce boundaries to live his best life, even if his morals don’t always align with others. When I’m writing him, I find it hilarious when his Fi (Introverted Feeling) comes through and he shifts from fun-loving and affectionate to saying, “No, Xavier, I cannot change my mind about this. It is not my responsibility to fix societal issues.” It’s the way he confidently says no with a smile, because deep down he truly validates himself and knows he’ll be fine whether someone stays in his life or not, which is why it was so confusing for him to remain attached to Maestro after grieving him.
Edit: Also, thank you for your wonderfully introspective comments.
God this has been a long time coming buT it’s no trouble at all!! As someone who grew up as the “eldest (Asian) daughter” and has friends who were shoehorned into that archetype by family, his story is a very important one imo, and I can see why it would be so cathartic for you. After all, it’s both powerful and liberating to reclaim that narrative, right?
And I’m happy that you enjoyed my initial comment aaaaaaaa so keep writing him exactly as you are!!! 💕💕🥺
Ooh! I rarely see medieval themed ocs~ He's awesome!! And I could tell how much love you have for him because of the amount of lore and info he has here! <3
I can’t lie my first thought was Lin-Manuel Miranda /pos
I love his design :3 I haven’t seen an oc like this tbh!
Ive had to read Aldren bio twice and I am just over the moon 🥰. Def a well loved character! Also because of the quoted name, Id imagine a sort of chibitized plush version of this fella! A actual physical idea, 100% soft for sure :D
I’m so glad you enjoyed found his bio worth the read! I truly adore him, and yes, he can transform into a plush version of himself, like a doll. I don’t have a picture of it yet, but it’s definitely on my to-do list. I can absolutely see myself getting a doll of him someday, that would be so awesome! Thank you so much for the kind words!
I LOVE HIS OUTFIT!! I rly love his hair style n his face is so adorable I'm definitely going to draw him at some point!! ✨️
He's actually so silly!!! (in a good way >:])
I honestly found it funny when I saw Megan Thee Stallion , lowkey wouldn't have thought I'd see that in his like(and a few others) >:D
Thank you!✨🌷🎀🌈 It's actually a joke about how he regularly speaks in Shakespearean and says "thee", so I thought it'd be funny
Actually Love The Amount Of Depth On PlushFri’s Profile
The Color Scheme’s Are Really Unique , Eating This Up For Breakfast , Lunch , And Dinner 🍽️
Absolutely ADORE this colour scheme!!! And the style isn't very common but I totally should be, I love it <3
For some reason I think he's British. I mean... Look at him. The theatre-theme helps to it...
I have thought about this a lot. I know he's was a medieval peasant in the 16th century, I know he's European. Apart from that, I don't know if he's French or German or Angelo-Saxon or what. No idea. He canonically knows French, German, Old English, and a decent version of modern English but I have no idea. His race is sorbet icecream.
I love his shakesphere theme. Also I support Plushfri's gay make out. Also seeing Matpat makes me miss him since he retired. 🐎 🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎
I'm loving the theorist/theory-board that smacks you in the face upon visiting his page, he seems like a ton of fun to talk to and has great stories (be they ones he made up himself or heard over time). Half of the story-telling is the theatrics and whimsy that come from it. Definitely 'talks with his hands' and makes plenty of gestures while describing things
