Jean is the first mate of Lafayette's infamous pirate crew, the Sea Dragons. He's generally a merry fellow, and tries to keep his crew mates' spirits high. He's wildly protective of his crew, to the point of being seen as the mom of the bunch. Despite being a pirate, he has a fairly high moral compass. He's often made fun of for his good guy nature, but he never lets the teasing get to him.

He and Oliver currently have a thing.
