He's big, he's bad, he's the infamous pirate captain, Lafayette. Infamous probably isn't the best word though, seeing as he's never actually done anything illegal. Lafayette is the grandson of Henrik, the captain of the ship that brought Blooms from the Homeland to Khados. Lafayette takes great pride in his lineage, and thinks very highly of himself as such. He's a bit of an arrogant asshole, quite frankly. He is very caring towards his crew, however, and can be quite sweet if you get past his pridefulness. 

He has seven sons- Elio, Kir, Loris, Samos, Kallias, Aden, and Ghost.

His crew consists of Bell, Jean, Dimitri, Iarlaith, Oliver, Tigris, Rhine, and Elliot. 

He's also had brief relationships with Song, Dimitri, Florian, Argos, Apollo, Phoenix, and Marshall.

He's finally found someone who can put up with him, and is now in a relationship with Lynn. He keeps him in line.
