Tartarus ✦ The Shepherd ✦ One Whom The Old Crow Sings
One of the ruling forces in dauþheimr; the death realm.
One of two death gods, both of whom are primordial deities; living even in death, whose cosmic flesh act as whalefall for the aberrant and unknown.
Often mellow, mild-mannered, benevolent. Not immune to bouts of mischief.
Their deitic form is rarely seen by mortals and gods alike; instead, they prefer to reside in mortal flesh, that of a simple firbolg shepherd. They are considerably taller than other firbolgs, a celestial disposition he was stuck with since existence.
Like other gods, Tartarus has a followship. It isn't as strong as compared to their other primordial peers, but it is much more
prominent than most secondary or minor pantheons. His following is often shrouded in whispered rumours and disdain,
and some outsiders reckon his followers to be sickened, blood-lust zealots worshipping a cruel personification of Armageddon.
In reality, Tartarus sees to his followers daily and tends to them like dear friends. Most who worship him only do so transiently,
out of desperation or to fulfil a specific goal. However, he doesn't hold much grudge. His most loyal companions are often
grave clerics and spore druids, whose purposes are often shunned and whose intentions are misread as malignance.
His closer companions call him many different names, each a reflection of their own dialect and culture.

Trivia:
- Tartarus is a good sprinter, not so much a long-distance runner.
They get exhausted after sprinting a few hundred meters or so and
have to slow down. (originally suggested by RabbitJaguar)
