Little Lady Emilienne Armande Scarletwing (or just Emi among friends), is the daughter of Sir and Lady Scarletwing, one of the wealthiest bunbat couples in Mahou Wando. A headstrong little girl, she knows what she wants, and she knows what she definitely does NOT want!
She loves attending balls and tea parties in the noble circles of bunbat society, dressed in the finest silks and satins, beautiful poofy dresses and big hats, that her dad has picked out for her. But she also loves adventure, and whether it be by reading tales of swashbuckling heroes and their exploits, or by following (or preferably leading) her fellow babybat peers into shenanigans of their own, she is going to have that craving for excitement satisfied somehow!
She’s currently doing her very best to navigate the expectations that come with her status as a noble, the class system in Little Nights, and just interacting with children her age. All of these are challenging, but she’s taking it in strides, and all in all, despite how huffy and stuffy she might come off as at times, she’s a quite bright and happy little girl.

Emilienne Scarletwing takes her role as heiress to one of the most distinguished noble families in Little Nightsovania, incredibly seriously. Prim and proper, with impeccable manners and a love for culture and history, she is the very image of everything the bunbat nobility values. If you look just a tiny bit deeper than that said image, there is more to her than just curtsying and drinking tea with her pinky out (she very much does do both of those things, but still). She's a clever and resourceful child, with a knack for sword fighting and Welquine riding, and she loves spending time exploring outdoors as much as she loves having tea parties indoors. She is polite and well-mannered, but that doesn’t mean she’s one to shy away from voicing her opinion if she disagrees with something, and if she thinks what you’re saying is stupid, you can be sure that she’ll let you know immediately.
Like most bunbat nobles, her name and her family's pride are not things she takes lightly, and a quick way to get on her bad side is to insult those. To be fair to her, she does perhaps have more reason to be extra touchy on the subject than many other bunbats. She certainly thinks so. She loves her parents dearly and does not take kindly to rude comments directed at them, but there are unfortunately some obvious points to direct said comments at, and she is very aware of that. Her beloved Maman isn't noble by birth, and comments about that, or just comments about how workers don't belong in noble circles make Emilienne furious. And then there's her dad... Her dad is as noble as can be, but he's... Well, not very bright, rather lazy and only seems to care about fashion. Emilienne finds all of those traits pretty embarrassing, but that's still her dad, so nobody is allowed to make fun of him!

The little lady has been raised to be... Well, a little lady, all her life, and she knows the ins and outs of high society. Where should one sit in relation to the host? What kind of dress is appropriate for a casual afternoon brunch at a viscount's winter estate? What's up with all those different kinds of cutlery anyway? Emi can tell you by heart.

Having been trained, primarily, by her dear Tonton Armand on how to use a sword from a young (or youngER) age, Emi is skilled with a weapon. Her weapon of choice is the rapier, but she is more than competent with several types of blades.
AESTHETIC TINKERING
SCARLETWING SKILLS:
The tinkering skill she has inherited from her dad's family. She hasn't honed this a lot, but with her natural talent, combined with her dad's near-constant fashion chattering, she's quite adept at aesthetic tinkering. What does that mean? For now, it means she can tell what will look good on a person, what would make a room feel more put-together, and other things like that. But who knows what she could do if she puts some effort into refining this?
TECH SKILLS
KEY PUNCHING:
Living in a part of MaWa that is kinda stuck in the past comes with some disadvantages. Compared to other children her age? Emi knows her way around technology just fine. Compared to BUNBAT children her age, though? Not so much. She can use a smartphone but stuff like a VPN is too tech-nerdy for her to keep up with.
Story
ORIGIN
Emilienne was born into the prestigious Scarletwing family and raised partially in the Scarletwing Manor in the high-class magician's quarters, and partially in the Scarletwing Mansion in Little Nightsovania. Having two parents who adored her endlessly, and who also had an abundance of solars to their name, she got plenty spoiled with toys, sweets and pretty dresses. She enjoyed playing with dolls and being read to in the libraries of her homes, but she also loved exploring her surroundings by herself, pretending to be the heroine going on adventures like in her books. Her father would often take her on Welquine rides across the fields, where they'd look at the skies and talk about whatever came to mind. Her Maman, who insisted that she would take care of her daughter, instead of having a nanny do it, would take her on picnics and to plays in the theatres where she herself once performed as an actress. And whenever her parents would throw grand balls at the manor, she'd get to stay up late, mingle with the guests and dance.
LITTLE LADY
As she grew up, being the observant child that she was, Emilienne began to grow more aware of her surroundings. This included becoming conscious of the expectations there were on someone of her status, and her demeanour had a slight change to reflect that. While she had always had excellent manners due to her upbringing, a bit of a curt disposition from just being herself, both of these aspects of her slowly began to become more prominent, as she began to take more pride in her manners, and how she carried herself.
She also noticed how her dad would often be absent. Not enough to where she'd never see him, far from it, but it would be at odd times of the day, and Maman always seemed to get just slightly on edge when he was gone. She began to get more annoyed about these trips, and kind of just... A lot of his mannerisms in general. Not so much because the things he'd do had suddenly become more annoying than before, but more so because it had begun to feel... Somewhat disingenuous. There were plenty of times when it wouldn't feel that way, but enough to where it was sometimes tough to believe her Maman and her Tonton when they told her that there was more than just ruffles and lace.
A BIG GIRL NOW
As she approaches the age when she will be graduating from MoonFang Academy, Emi has been doing her best to make an influence on her community, and to champion the principles she herself holds in high regard. Managing to be elected as head of Lil Refined Culture has been her greatest and proudest achievement in her efforts so far, but she is not one to rest on her laurels and still has big plans for what she wants to accomplish in the future. History, culture and manners are important, and she will be doing her very best to prove that to her peers!
... But... You know... Maybe she can also just... Spend some time with her new friends, without worrying too much about all of that? There does seem to be a lot of fun to be had if one is willing to relax a bit, and just do what one feels like doing in the moment...

Maman! Her beloved mother! Emilienne looks up to her a lot! She thinks her Maman is one of the smartest, prettiest and just all around best people ever. She's a bit more strict than her dad, but it's fine! She's still very sweet and gives very nice and good hugs, so the strictness can be forgiven.

Oh dad... Emilienne thinks her dad is... A lot... >:T But in a kinda boring and annoying way. Fuzzing over her clothes to the point where she is often almost running late, whining about small things, and just sorta being not smart. Despite this, Emilienne still loves her dad very much! She just wishes he was a bit cooler, that's all!
