Vincent

Vincent grew up with neglectful parents who only cared about the downfall of their relationship between them, only bringing up Vincent to make the other stay in the relationship. Vincent didn't feel obligated to form a deep bond with either of his parents and would only ask them money for school, to which they would give him. Vincent had no clue why they decided to have him in the first place, but it was clear to him that the relationship they have was incredibly abusive, and he didn't want to be a part of that.

At some point, his parents started using drugs and they increasingly became more abusive, involving Vincent in their fights as well. Vincent was done with them, so he reported them to the police and they were arrested. Vincent had to live in an orphanage since he didn't have any relatives who could take care of him, and Vincent find himself more at home at the orphanage than at his parents' home. Vincent later was released from the orphanage at age 18, and he ended up living with a single foster father who was a police officer.

Thanks to his father's job, Vincent made connections with the police and would start working for them, taking care of suspicious criminals for them even if Vincent didn't seem completely loyal to the police. Vincent was still careful to not cross the line and only cared about the benefits for himself. At some point, a certain detective named Christian started investigating him, and Vincent knew that. Vincent was interested in Christian and even asked his dad about him. His dad noticed how his son took interest in Christian and decided they'll work together on a case.

Even though Christian was obviously unhappy with the decision, Vincent was pleased to work with him. Not only was he a great detective, he was also fun to rile up even when Christian was trying his best to not show his anger. Eventually they solved the case and Vincent betrayed the mob he was working with at the time, and Christian was shocked to know that he was even working with them in the first place. After this case, Vincent disappeared for a while to have a vacation by himself. He thought a lot about what to do next, since he's gotten tired of what he's been doing between the police and the mafia.

After having some time for himself, he decided to come back home and crash at Christian's apartment. He forced Christian to let him live in his apartment and before Christian knew it, Vincent became his flatmate. Since Christian didn't want Vincent working for the police anymore, he made Vincent not only do the housework, but he also made Vincent work at his family's restaurant, which was hilarious to Vincent since apparently Christian trusted him enough to work at his family's establishment. Vincent loves the life he has now, and even though his dynamic with Christian didn't change much, at least Christian's feelings towards him wasn't complete hatred.
