[XIV] Arnora Blood (3. [XVI] Notes)

She was recruited into the Imperial Intelligence division and worked hard to prove her worth as well. She got Benedikta’s eye through her hard work and was given the “Blessing of Garuda” as a result of her exemplar performance

Sometimes later, she would defect from Waloed and be very hated for her betrayal – despite saying that aligning with Waloed helped her in the moment. Even straight out saying “being here is only a means to an end”. She was using Waloed’s resources to better herself and happened to garner the ability to cast magic out of it too. Didn’t mean she was any less despised

The “means” she referred to was that Arnora was looking for someone. She needed to learn how to be better at tracking and defending herself to achieve this however. Despite yet finding the person she’s looking for, she has quite the uncanny ability to find what other people might be looking for. Such as people, information, and items. Anything anyone would ask for really.

She’s looking for her brother. As he disappeared somewhere and the only clue she was given was to look through some old ruins.

Since she decided to help Cid, giving him the same reasons, she’s felt like she’s had more freedom to do what she wanted to do. To look around while helping out Bearers and other people caught up in the warfare around the Realm.

She created a mask to help navigate aether flood areas using technology from some of the ruins scattered around the continents. She has a partially functional one prior to Cid breaking it – again – during the raid into Drake’s Head in Sanbreque. Instead of being partially broken it was “broken” broken.

She’s able to fix it later when Jill and Clive head to Drake’s Breath. She has them carry around some strange aether gathering devices so she can adjust the volume the masks need to function.

Over the 5 years, she spends her time trying to help those allied with The Outlaws in The Hideaway. She tries to come up with some new inventions and find new sources of information to keep track of Hugo Kupka and other forces against The Outlaws as well.

She’s quite the busybody in this respect and usually looked haggard about something. People are usually trying to make sure she’s taking care of herself because of this.

She has quite the soft spot for Clive. She usually brings whatever reports she feels he needs to see to him personally and is leading an investigation in keeping up with Hugo Kupka as well.

Her crush on Clive is pretty well known in The Hideaway and Jill is the only brave one to tease her for it. Along with a handful of others, but most of the people that try are worried she’ll give them more work to do if they have time to gossip.
