Max is a tattoo artist that lives in California. He spends almost all of his free time playing ELD, a popular mmorpg, as well as drawing up designs for items and weapons in the game. A few of his designs have made it into the game, and he's very proud of that.
Max grew up in Virginia. His has a younger sister, Sara, that he left behind when he went to California. The two of them have always been close, though, and ELD was originally Sara's idea as a way for them to continue to hang out despite the distance. Though he's not sure, Max thinks he might have feelings for one of the other players in their group, Lily.
