Leviathan

Leviathan had a family background steeped in the art of fame. With a long line of stars including actors, models, and dancers, his parents were influential figures in the entertainment industry. With great wealth and success came ambitious passions. Leviathan's parents were focused on preserving the family legacy, and they believed that his flawless beauty made him a prime candidate for beauty pageants, despite his more submissive and docile personality.

Young Leviathan was an up-and-coming star. He performed with graceful ease, following his parents' guidance to the letter. As he danced, the stage was merely a vast expanse of darkness, peering eyes within. Despite his demure disposition and tendency to blend into the shadows, he displayed a natural grace and ease when performing, executing each routine with precision and poise. As he danced under the spotlights, however, it was hard to ignore the feelings of loneliness and isolation that haunted him. The stage seemed like an empty void, where Leviathan's movements spoke louder than his words, but his heart longed for a deeper connection. To be seen as him, not a show.

Despite his early successes, the pressure his parents' obsession with fame took its toll on his wellbeing. As he rose to stardom, he was subjected to grueling schedules, strict diets, and strenuous exercises. His slender frame seemed to be the center of their attention, leading to his parents resorting to medication to manage his weight and sleep. These actions caused more harm than good, leaving Leviathan frail and weak. During moments of solitude, he often escaped to safe havens, where he could immerse himself in the comfort of a good book. Despite these simple joys or even speaking to air as if he had a friend, he would soon discover that these were only fleeting moments.

Leviathan's troubled mind made falling asleep a struggle since his childhood. In an attempt to quell his insomnia-laden nights, he was given sleeping medication on a regular basis. At first, the effects appeared positive, but over time, they led to severe fatigue and performance issues. In his late teens, he had built up a tolerance to the medication, forcing him to take more than the doctors recommend. His behavior eventually upset his mother, who, in a fit of rage attempted to find alternative remedies and even resorted to mixing medications in her desperation. When one of these concoctions resulted in what she thought was an overdose related death, she, in a panic, disposed of his body. Little did she know that he remained alive, barely clinging to life.

In the midst of his agony, Leviathan rallied what remained of his willpower to continue trudging through the cold, snowy forest. As he struggled to remain conscious and draw breath, he found that his vision had dulled, making his home in the distance appear further away than ever. Dirt and blood stained both his body and the pale snow, but this was the least of his concerns. With his strength fading, as if guided by divine intervention, he heard the sound of approaching footsteps. In a momentary flicker of hope, he managed to raise his head, only to find that it was his father, his face betraying a blank, apathetic expression.

The brief smile that graced his lips quickly faded as the familiar sound of a shotgun cocking reached his ears. He lifted his head slightly, desperate to maintain contact with his father, who now stood before him with a shotgun pointed squarely at him. The expression in his father's eyes told Leviathan all he needed to know. In one final moment of despair, tears stained his cheeks once more before attempting to plead. Yet his words were cut short, a shot ringing throughout the woods.

When Leviathan awoke from a deep, dark slumber that seemed to last for an eternity, he discovered himself lying on a dilapidated medical table surrounded by the musty air of an abandoned factory. To his surprise, a woman, whom he had never met before, stood by his side, exuding a calming and reassuring energy. As he struggled to collect his thoughts, he learned that she had found him teetering on the brink of death, the result of the drugs that had ravaged his body and a grievous gunshot wound. Althea, a woman of formidable skill and determination, had performed a miraculous transformation, literally giving Leviathan her organs to keep him alive. In an incredible feat of medical prowess, she had managed to stitch him together, restoring him to life and allowing him to breathe once more.

From then on, he found himself deeply attached to her, unable to let go of the nurturing, motherly love that she had shown him. As her assistant, Leviathan dedicated himself to supporting her in all her endeavors. The love and appreciation between these two was clear to anyone who knew them, as they had a strong, unbreakable bond that would last forever. Althea supported Leviathan in every aspect of his life, encouraging and nurturing him as a loving mother would. They remained inseparable, their love and gratitude for each other growing deeper with each passing day.

In these past few years, Leviathan spent most of his days at Althea's side, feeling a burning need to always be with or behind her, like a loving son to his mother. Entering his mid-twenties, he began to feel lost and longing for a deeper connection with others, a desire born out of his journey for personal growth and the desire to make Althea proud. He made a concerted effort to build meaningful relationships with others and even took up a part-time job at an underground clinic, expanding his circle of friends and honing his skills in the process. His hard work and dedication paid off, as he became proficient in his tasks and studies. Through it all, Althea remained supportive and grateful for any visitors and friends Leviathan made along the way.

As Leviathan continues on his personal journey towards growth and healing, he is fully aware that a considerable amount of work still lies ahead. Although he has made great strides since the beginning of his journey, there remains some lingering trauma that still haunts him. He struggles to fall asleep, as his nightmares still plague him, while even the sight of guns is enough to trigger a rush of fear. When he looks in the mirror, he is often reminded of the scars and stitches that now cover his once-beautiful features, a constant reminder of the pain he's endured. Despite these challenges, he is dedicated to his journey of self-discovery and remains grateful for the support and love shown to him by the people closest to him, especially Althea, his loving and supportive surrogate mother. Together, they are navigating through the challenges and making steady progress towards a brighter future.

• Leviathan needs a cane to walk, as his body is rather fragile.
• Despite his lack of sleep, he still functions properly. If he must sleep, he prefers to sleep near Althea if possible. Otherwise, he's capable of sleeping while standing.
• He keeps his hair rather long, as it makes him feel pretty. Although he struggles to brush it, often needed someone to help him.
