This character is a fan interpretation of the unseen "Mike" character that is mentioned by Spamton in Chapter 2 of Deltarune.
Mike is a small darkner from the TV dark world, who after a bad accident where he lost his body, became an immobile microphone with nothing left but his voice.
He presents a TV show along with his partner Host, looking to help other darkners down on their luck and helping them out of their situations.
Personality
- Bossy and a bit neurotic
- Talks way too much and will not shut up ever
- Genuinely looking out for you but he's mean about it
- Comes across as very self-aggrandizing but doesn't actually think too highly of himself
- Weird uncle/dad type
- Quick to anger but will not hold a grudge
- Very competitive and passionate
- Doesn't care that he doesn't have any arms or legs, he will still put up a fight if taunted hard enough
- Calls everyone "kid" if he perceives them to be younger than him
- "BE NICE TO HOST, IT'S NOT HARD."
A nobody microphone darkner who struggled to relate to his peers due to being older and outdated.
After being caught in an abnormally powerful shockwave released by a certain TV darkner which left his body paralyzed, Mike ended up getting involved with said darkner and the mysterious otherworldly entity that was communicating with them.
His name is literally a pun on "Mic"
His design was initially based on the smilling face that's seen on the basement of Queen's Mansion when seeking out Spamton Neo. But as his design developed, some things became more fleshed out such as the shape of his eyes changing and me accidentally flipping his eye colours and never changing them back.
His green cord was colour-picked from Spamton Neo's strings due to the initial concept being that Mike was a puppeteer. This concept is no longer accurate, but the cord remained green as like... vestigial character design or something like that
He was initially concepted as a villain, but the more he developed, the more he started leaning towards neutral/morally grey.
Eye Colour Pink and Yellow
His head is the size of a real life microphone so just imagine holding him in your hand so get an idea of big he is. A very small man
Face is weird and stylized and sticks out of his head.
Does not close his mouth, always needs to have the teeth showing.
Cord can change size

Mike's partner and best friend who he simply loves with all his heart. They always look out for each other and are rarely to never seen apart. To most outsiders, it can come across that Host is Mike's caretaker, but more often than not, it's usually the opposite that applies.
Mike knows Host has a lot more going on than they let on, and he wants to protect them no matter the cost.
Mike and Spamton were always incredibly close, and although Spamton started out as just another client, Mike was quick to become attached to the starry-eyed Addison throughout his journey to success.
However, their relationship fell apart when Spamton was unable to reach the NEO robot, resulting the two fighting more and more over the phone and Mike cutting off the connection.
If the mystery man wants that machine so damn much, he can just go grab it himself.
Despite never having met Host's otherworldly contact, Mike can't stand the idea of his partner being used as an experiment.
Mike has never communicated with him directly, only getting his info from what Host has told him.
He has seen the power and effect that this entity has, and wants to stay as far away from him as possible.
Mike saw Swatch as an obstacle between Spamton and the NEO robot, which got him to dislike them. On top of that, Spamton's infatuation with the bird only made things harder to deal with.
