- sometimes wears bandages to keep up his gruff and brute persona. usually anywhere, sometimes just a few on his face.
- blind in both eyes ( its a little vague but its implied he always had bad vision but wasnt always fully/mostly blind )
- he often views button as a weird clingy little brother of sorts - button feels the same way, but like chase is his cool older brother he's never met. it doesn't help that chase is often an older brother figure to those under 18, and that him and button look somewhat related.
- he met Willow in a comedy club originally when he was doing standup, but became friends with him at college. they hit it off pretty well. Willow couldn't go to college anymore due to the expenses among other things, and Chase quit after a while. They connected again quickly after when they both realized they needed a place to live after abandoning their dorms, so then they rented an apartment together.
- smokes often, but his voice doesn't sound raspy or anything. he usually does it due to stress or in order to keep up his image.
- often swears, his favorites being fuck, bastard, and shit.
- forgot to draw this in the ref, but he often has a little chin fluff - like a goatee on his chin.

Chase was a child who was born with a mediocre family and bad vision at birth, but despite this, was content in life. Over the course of his life his vision got worse and worse until he was almost completely blind ( he can only see the light that shines on something ). He always thought he was rather humorous, so before his demise he tried to become a comedian.
He was Willows roommate and best friend. Key word being, was. They got in a huge fight ( read: Chase got angry at him for a reason unknown to willow ( but apparently it related to someones death ) ), and Chase physically hurt Willow within the two days the "fight" took place. It became extremely serious, and he is the cause for Willows lack of eyes ( or his one eye at least, the other wasn't caused by Chase ) and the scars on his face.
But the fight came to a halt as Willow plunged a knife inside of his former friend out of instinct, and Chase died.
