A PC-9821 and a former astronaut, Yuri is nothing but a man whose love for space, specifically with the unknown and space exploration, doesn't seem to stop him in the slightest despite being an amnesiac due to an accident he had ended up in that almost cost him his life. Because of this, he's unable to recall majority of his life from before training to become an astronaut after chasing his lifelong dream of his, as well as big gaps in his memory that may or may not still be there. With his personal belongings helping fill in some of the gaps in his mind, it hasn't stopped him from changing his last name out of panic from not recognising it.

Yuri can come off as being timid, somewhat sensitive and easy to forget things at times, yet he's really just a polite and quiet man who means well in his actions. Though, donning the astronaut helmet drastically changes him to be a more cryptic and hostile individual, with a monotone way of speaking that ends up only further enhancing his personality. His love for space also extends to some of his interests, which includes building model replicas of various spaceflight vehicles and satellites, as well as... a PC-98 game set in space?

His intense feelings of having seen Gillian Walker before only led to him introducing himself in a way that initially startled him senseless the first few times. But after having finally found Gillian again after the near-fatal accident, as well as Yuri managing to recover majority of his memories from his old (but damaged) hard drives, the two have ended up being beyond inseperable. But the question remains: where'd he even find the astronaut helmet, as well as the gloves and boots he regularly wears? Doesn't seem like he even wants to answer that question at all.

Lavender, a favorite flower and scent of his, seems to help comfort him.
