About

Oleander is a very curious and observant creature. She tends to rely on logic over feelings quite a lot and can sometimes be a bit too blunt about her thoughts at any given time. However, her ability to sometimes not understand the feelings of others doesn't mean she has any ill will and she will adjust if she realizes something she said or did hurts their feelings.
She's also a sponge for any knowledge, but given her upbringing, sometimes fiction will be part of what she considers true.
That said, she still reacts to stressful or dangerous situations a bit with an impulse and temper, ready to defend herself if need be. A trait not common with her species. To her, it seems illogical to always run from threats, if one could possibly fend them off.

Oleander is part of the Cult of Heart, a religious group within the Beating Groves that worships the Heart as the center of their world. They stand in direct opposition to Neurons and unlike the Neurons, accept any kind of Cell into their midst that will follow their teachings. Oleander herself often feels as if she doesn't fit quite into the Cult, but as a Pacemake Cell, that it is her obligation to follow it anyhow. She also knows nearly every religious story from the Cult and to a degree, believes in their truthfulness.

Trivia about her Species:
-Pacemaker Cells in real life control the hearts contractions!
-Pacemaker Cells in Starborn have the ability to give off very, very soft electric shocks. These are usually used to give Cardiomyocytes a bit of a boost in energy. These two types of Cells work hand in hand.
-Both Pacemaker Cells and Cardiomyocytes belong to Cell groups that come in a large variety of looks. However, Pacemaker Cells are always rather noodly, while Cardiomyocytes are a bit buffer.
-Pacemaker Cells still are classified as "lesser" among her kin when compared to Cardiomyocytes, despite this.
-They have an uncanny hand for rythm and song, often leading religious roles for singing and chanting.
-Being "see-through" is actually extremely rare within her species and seen as a bad omen. Despite this, the Cult at least claims they still accept anyone, even her.
