Profile
- Flammable: Takes extra damage from fire. Can catch on fire if overheated for long, or too close to an uncontained fire.
- Snow Problem: Unaffected by freezing.
- Scarecrow: Scares crows. (birds cannot land in the area he is standing in)
- Assembly Required: Can lose his arms occasionally when taking damage or using tools. When missing both arms, he cannot hold or use tools until they are reattached.
- A Bushel And A Peck: Can't eat regular food, instead gains hunger and a small amount of health from grass.
- Stitched Up: Can't use healing items, but can use sewing kits to replenish health.
If Only I Had A Brain
Samson had a regular life… Decent family, decent friends, went to college, yada yada… Was kind of boring, actually. He was often looking for something to occupy himself. Food, drinks, smoking, sex, none of it ever seemed to do what he wanted it to. He put on a well enough face, was actually quite friendly and likable by all he met. Getting through life was easy… but it also wasn’t. The longer time went on, the emptier he felt… Everything in his life felt incredibly surface level, nothing seemed to resonate with him deeply. Wasn’t there more to life? Wasn’t there feeling, or meaning? He couldn’t understand why he couldn’t find it, feel it, experience it himself. Maybe 21 years wasn’t a long time to wait, but it was where he reached the end of his rope. One particular night, Samson had made a final decision…
After that night, the next thing he remembers is waking up and feeling much lighter. He was in such shock that he couldn’t even move. It took him a whole hour before he realized some lady was there talking to him, calling him a…scarecrow… Once the night came, and the lady left him alone for a moment, he was able to actually check himself… and sure enough, he’d become a scarecrow somehow? It was so unbelievable, he continued to be shocked into silence for what felt like years. At some point, he started to wonder how long he could trick that lady into thinking he wasn’t alive… It was kind of like a fun game… Years later, he’s got a new name, new friends, a new life entirely. Maybe all he really needed WAS time… because nowadays, he feels a little less empty… Or maybe he just needed more hay stuffed into him.

[ Tour Guide ]
Wicah's a little dumb, but in a cute way. He didn't really believe in her visions at first, but over the years it's all kind of added up to something that seems too real not to believe. Doesn't really make a difference to him either way, though.
Watson

Watson... hahaha, oh Watson. Wheatie could mess with this guy all day. He's an idiot, emotional, easy to rile up. Wheatie's favorite kind of guy. It's only when the guy gets drunk and pathetic that Wheatie wishes he could bail. For some reason he doesn't...
Winnie
[ Mom Friend ]
Winnie's hard to trick... and the look she gives him when he succeeds would scare him if he were still human. She's not a complete stick in the mud, though, and he doesn't mind staying still for hours, obviously.
Watsky
[ Jingles ]
Watsky's alright, even if all that stuff they do is kind of meaningless. It means something to them, apparently. He tries not to rag on them too hard, though they're a pretty good sport.
Wenzy
[ The Funny One ]
Wenzy took a long time to catch onto his trick... But they've got a good heart. They make Wheatie laugh, so he doesn't mind them being around.
Walker
[ The One Who Didn't Scream ]
Walker insists that he could tell Wheatie was real from the first moment he saw him... Wheatie refuses to believe that, he's too committed to the act... But at the same time, Walker isn't as dumb as he seems. Either way, Walker's alright.
Wildwood
[ Favorite Fauna ]
Wildwood's nice... Wheatie wishes he could taste his food... But the least he can do is help with the garden as much as possible. Wildwood's a good guy... probably the only person Wheatie has completely stopped trying to mess with. He won't admit it, but he can't really stand seeing his upset expression.
