Feng grew up in a world that greatly worshiped nature. his father and mother were quite normal but pious people, their culture was sacred to them.
when Feng came to the island, it wasn't exactly easy to adapt to the local conditions. luckily he was still relatively young [barely 14] and still eager to learn.
at 15 he discovered a temple complex deep in the island's jungle and decided to stay there. the tribe that lived there took him to a rite and Feng became
a disciple of the temple. his education lasted 5 years, he was an ambitious student with unique talent. subsequently he was chosen to become a Zodiac fighter.
a special honor because for many generations the Zodiac powers have only been awarded to the best graduates. Zodiacs worship martial arts and are the great protectors of the temple.
they all undergo a ritual of locking an animal spirit within them. this animal spirit allows them to become even stronger and turn into a beast that should expel attackers and is immune to all conditions of the island.
