Aztex is a fierce deity, protecting only those who worship him. In some cultures, Aztex is a representative of the sun, bringing nourishment and life to all those in his watch. However, to bring light there must be darkness. And Aztex keeps that darkness away by requiring a sacrifice made in his favor every year. He absorbs the forces associated with the ritual act and stores it inside of him for the oncoming battles.

He favors Milas and his kingdom after there were a handful of sacrifices made early on in the kingdom's upbringing. Milas' grandfather was known to wipe out entire families to please Aztex, which has brought plentiful good tidings to the generations after. It is something tht Milas' family does not like to think about. Aztex enjoys visiting the family when times are quiet, as they provide him with good food and quaint stories.

When he's not battling the forces of darkness, Aztex meets with his recruiter. Metz was tasked with finding others to partake in the following, must to his dismay. Aztex can sense the sincere worship in his heart and keeps him around due to this. Same for Citlali, who occassionally pops up in the same time period as Aztex from time to time, sometimes even partaking in battle with him.
