The good boy, very simple. Only wants for you to be happy, almost never thinks about anything else.

◈ Vauge histories

His history is a secret he can't share himself, but the star he was born from was massive & energetic. Just as all other Nova Lumin, Sol was born as a vaugely shaped quadruped. His form appeared as a golden nebula, and he was covered in dazzling stars. As a result of all the extra energy that most Lumin don't possess, Sol's form is significantly more radiant than most, and therefore, mortals really couldn't look at him without blinding themselves. After many years wandering mindlessly through galaxies, he became drawn to living, mortal planets.

At first, he was completely unaware of why his presence seemed to scatter all forms of life, and yet no one seemed to look at him? At least, not directly. Anyways, he saw some lions & thought they were pretty cool. So, the shape of his form begun developing to mimic these kitties & their floppy manes. After a while spent in this form completed, he had learned to understand the creatures and their languages better. Eventually, he finally realized he was burning all their eyes out... Since he really wanted to interact with them, he looked around for something to mimic on his pelt. In the end, he decided to hide his starry fur by mimicking the soft, cloudy-but-blue sky's colors.

He spent a long time wandering other planets, & was perfectly happy with this, if not a little lonely. Mortals don't last long... When he saw a radiant sparkle across a meadow, he was excited to find three Supernova (humanoid) Lumin, along with a Nova. They looked different then the others he'd often seen; adorned with decorations of mortal life, although not completely hiding their stars with decor as he was. He liked that, so he nonchalantly interjected himself into the group. After a short panic, he was met with confused stares, but eventually, they just accepted they were being followed now. He became integral pretty quickly.

He travelled with them to many other planets, but this time, it was always to render aid of some kind. It made him feel much more purposeful. During one of his travels with his buddies, he saw a herd of sheep traveling together. With an excited trill, his mane fluffed up in an instant. He felt perfect now, never again did he feel the need to add any more flourishes. Everything was perfect, and nothing could go wrong.

UNTIL HIS GROUP SPLIT UP. The nerve. It wasn't out of any malice; they all became Light-leaders & wanted to lead their own groups of travelers. Sol was upset about this for awhile, but he decided to 'keep' Weis & Knight for himself. At least they all visit eachother occasionally, and now, he has all these new friends showing up without him looking for any. So yes, he is 99% happy. His dream would still be to have all his buddies together. Permanently.
