Yu Junming is the latest addition to the RomCon startup. He is a hopeless romantic at heart who has been in more relationships than he can count. He tends to go over the top when it comes to planning romantic scenes, which causes him to fail at his first few assignments at RomCon.
After Valerie assigns him to tag along with Jamal Lone, a seasoned ConCoct agent, Junming learns romance needs a dash of practicaility.
Background
Junming's parents are a sweet, loving couple who unfortunately, died in an airplane crash three years before the start of the novel. The three of them were a tight-knit family and their deaths hit Junming hard.
History
At the start of the novel, Junming starts his new job as a ConCoct agent at RomCon. His enthusiasm and high romantic inclination causes him to botch his first few assignnments. Luckily for him, RomCon is short of manpower. The manager, Valerie, re-assigns him to be Jamal Lone's partner. As he tags along with Jamal, he grows a crush on the charming man.
Meanwhile, he has a terrible encounter with his boss, Grayson Black. After accidentally consuming Grayson's prized ice cream, Junming tries to make up for it but ends up making it worse. The two men form a shaky relationship over notes tacked onto the fridge.
