Darion's Links
Cares deeply about Sparrow, and respects her drive. However, they're not stupid, and can tell she's throwing herself into task after task to avoid having to deal with her personal issues. Really wishes she would not do that! Fears she's going to burn herself out sooner rather than later... and, well, they miss her.
Cares deeply about Darion, and respects their ability to keep the group cohesive and focused, but wishes they'd mind their own business every once in a while. She knows they're just trying to help out, and to an extent she does appreciate it, she'd just prefer if they'd at least ask before butting in. Extremely grateful that they helped her meet Dandelion, though.
Cares deeply for Suncrest, and worries about him. They know he's always been one to prioritise everyone else over himself, and they know they'd be a hypocrite to fault him on that, but the infuriating part is Suncrest can't even see that they and the others care about him for who he is. And they know he's hiding something at this point. But there's nothing they can do to help him with whatever it is, with him at Deadman's Cove. Guiltily wonders if that was part of why he stayed behind.
Cares deeply for Darion, and knows they care a whole lot. Holds great admiration for the lengths they'll go to in order to help their friend group, and wishes he could do the same; feels terrible that he can't even begin to be as helpful as Darion while still often benefiting from what they do. Deeply ashamed of hiding his impending blight from them, but... he couldn't face burdening them even further.
Their older sister, they care deeply for Cynthia. They can't lie, part of them misses the days when she kept them safe under her metaphorical wing, if only because she'd seemed happier then... but they certainly hadn't been in a good state themselves at that time, and looking back, Cynthia almost certainly would've been doing worse than she'd let on back then too. Just staying strong for them. Well... time for them to return the favour. They just hope she can come out of this happier, like they did after her help. Can tell she knows something about Suncrest's condition that they don't, but... can't tell what the truth is.
Her younger sibling, she cares deeply for Darion. She's incredibly proud of how far they've come out of their shell and into an almost leader-like role, but feels guilty that her own withdrawal seems to have at least partially been the catalyst for this. She tried to stay strong for them for so long, and for what? She crumbled the second things got a little too scary anyway. Deeply ashamed of lying to them on Suncrest's behalf; they deserve better than to be left deliberately out of the loop, but she couldn't have expected his blight to take so long to rear its head...
