Shamshir

• Either color palette is fine. His coloration changes based on the temperature around him, shiny/gold for warm and cool/blue for cold
• Water/Electric type

 Shamshir is a brute, and one who's in charge. He's aggressive, defensive, and easily threatened by changes in his environment. While he isn't downright violent towards his family and those he cares about- he's definitely not soft or afraid to be a bit bossy and intimidating to get his way. He struggles with a powerful fear of being replaced by his twin brother, with whom he's always shared a deep rivalry since their youth, fostered by their father.

 Because of this, he very often feels a need to prove himself and thus can be very easy to manipulate simply by challenging or threatening him. He might be cunning in some ways (particularly- in fighting), but he's really not that smart and it's very easy to outsmart him in typical situations. He can be very hotheaded and stubborn, and convincing him to change his mind on something is nigh impossible. He cannot admit fault in himself- as he sees it a sign of weakness, and as such will never admit he was wrong no matter how obvious it may seem to outsiders. He will respond aggressively to anything he sees as a personal attack.

He is generally kind or tolerant and overprotective of those close to him (Such as his direct, nonconflicting family), but he's very harsh on outsiders in particular.

Shamshir and Harbour were twins, and from the start they always butt heads. Both were in line to be expected to run their pride of luxray-fusion Pokemon and they were extremely competitive about it. Shamshir, unfortunately, always fell a bit behind his brother, leading to deep rooted resentment that festered through their juvenile years. When the day of their fateful battle finally came, however, Shamshir overtook his brother, forcing him from his home and family and becoming the new leader of their clan. 

He rules in paranoia and an iron paw, while he isn't outright abusive or vicious- he fears the day his brother comes to take what's his, and can't cope with the possibility that one day he'll be the "inferior" one. As such, he's very nasty and hateful towards his brother and mentions of him. He's highly protective and territorial, and known for being quite the hassle for any local trainers or swimmers who stumble unfortunately into his family's space.
