Lis's Links
Lis adores his older sister. He’s entirely overprotective of Fleur and hates to see her cry. He insisted she live with him after the betrayal of her hero and plans to fiercely guard her from anyone that doesn’t measure up to his standards.
Fleur cares deeply for her younger brother. She’s always doted on Lis and wanted the best for him. After being betrayed by her chosen hero, she’s been relying on Lis and living with him while her broken heart recovers.
Marlena seems to like his sister. He may not fully trust her, but Fleur could use friends and Lis isn’t about to isolate his beloved sister.
Marlena gets a sense of suspicion from Lis about her but she wouldn’t want to hurt him, she wasn’t assigned to AND doing that would hurt Fleur. Despite it, she tries to update him on how she’s doing, almost like a big sister.
Prisma is an old family friend. While Lis doesn’t know her well enough to trust her entirely, he does trust her enough to take on whatever jobs she sends his way… and let her into his home. Make no mistake however, friend or not, if harm comes to Fleur he won’t hold back.
Lis would do anything for his town and his sister. That's very cute - the loyalty runs in the family. It always has.
I almost feel bad for what I am going to do to him now, but... someone was bound to do it anyway. He's bold, overconfident, and a powerhouse. He's alone, unbonded, and intent on standing on his own strength. It's good that he does so - even if the isolation makes him easy to manipulate. Even if his faith in other people, and his trust in his sister makes him vulnerable. A target. It only takes a push to turn a guardian into a weapon.
It's strange... after all this time, this family still feels a measure of loyalty to me. I don't know why. I'll repay their trust in full one day - with the truth that this world is far uglier than they could imagine.
When Araz reappeared in his life, Lis was unbelievably happy. He and Fleur had thought they’d lost most of their old friends to Mal’s prisons, so the fact that so many familiar faces have been coming back has been reassuring. Araz is fun to fight with, Lis being so used to being surrounded by people on the gentler side it’s refreshing to have someone willing to throw down!
Lis is an interesting Boisbéni to say the least. Although his lack of desire for a hero differs from my personal experience, we share some things in common with each other. I’ve known him and Fleur before King Mal’s rule, and I’m grateful that i could be able to reunite with them after such a long time. I’ll admit he and I surprisingly make a great pair fighting against bandits. You can always count on me to fight beside you Lis, no questions asked.
Yehn strikes Lis as the parent type… considering he actually is a parent just reinforces the feeling. Lis does like Yehn, but can’t help but feel like the other Beni is trying to tell him what to do, which makes Lis want to rebel and act out like a child.
Lis is....*sigh*....interesting. After the incident with Gwyn he's not allowed to watch them, at least not without his sister around. Though I can tell Gwyn likes Lis surprisingly, I think its his rather rambunctious behavior, something that Gwyn seems to be adopting....suspiciously. I don't know Lis' story so I have no right to judge him but I feel he's honestly just...misguided?
Lis always wants to punch Lin on sight. The other Beni had tried to capture him at least once and while Lis had escaped, he certainly never forgot Lin. His dislike of them is enhanced tenfold by Fleur’s unabashed admiration of the Boisbéni that was actively hunting them (not that she’s aware, but Lis isn’t about to crush her spirit, this will be his and Lin's little secret)
I'm well aware you hate me. I'm also well aware it's deserved. At any time you could tell her about what I did and who I am... I guess I wonder why you haven't already.
Lis really really likes Jun but also wants to punch him in his stupid fucking face.
Affectionately of course.
The guy brings some weird shit around like some demented overgrown cat but Lis can dig it so he doesn’t ask Jun to stop.
[Light hearted] Punch me all you wish. I admire your principles in life, Lis.
Lis loves to bully Finch, much like an older brother. What with Finch being fairly young, Lis will lord his age over the other béni and tease him all day.
Seeing how the little village of beni was rather rare, especially after king Mal's treacherous reign, they were eventually visited by a sibling pair. It wasn't long before Lis was up to his mischievous ways, teasing Finch with every chance he could get.
Luckily, Finch didn't mind this too much. Yes, on occasions Lis did cause Finch to cry a little from fright, however, he views the older beni like a brother. What are brothers for if not to push your limits?
Lis likes Gwyn well enough. He always calls the kid a brat but it’s meant to be endearing! Lis is an awful influence and actively puts Gwyn in potentially dangerous situations.
The Child sets off all of Lis’s alarm bells. He absolutely refuses to let this weirdo near anyone or anything he cares about, certain that they would destroy anything they get their hands on. Lis sincerely wants to get rid of The Child to keep his loved ones safe.
The Child does not care for Lis. His violent and rowdy nature are things they cannot stand. Should they ever meet again, The Child does not plan to show Lis any mercy.
Lis met Papillon while fishing and ever since has found them to be a funny creature. Though he has no romantic interest in them, he’s still friendly and doesn’t make fun of their feelings.
Papillon is head over heels, absolutely in LOVE with Lis! Can’t stand to see him with anyone else, wants him to stay with them forever! Unfortunately that’s not what Lis wants, so Papillon is left with one sided feelings.
Lis thinks Reed is funny. He's never been an older sibling but he imagines this is what it was like when he and Fleur were growing up. Don't worry Reed, Lis's going to be an excellent older brother figure and show you the proper way to throw a child out a window!
SO COOL! Lis is so strong! He also likes to fight a lot- which I'm not too good at- but it's always fun to watch his fancy moves! His outfits are so fancy too- i don't know how a guy like him can stand them-
