Midori lives with his little brother (adopted) in a small house in a town around the western region. She takes part as a baker in one of the bakeries in the town and the job is her only source of income. Her incredible baking skills makes her a valuable staff. Before meeting Ryuuji, Midori often stroll around the town looking for something to do. Her love for the town knows no bound, as the townsfolk has taken her in when they found her in the woods.

Midori is a cheerful girl, and loves to joke with people. Even when someone picks on her (Stella does it best), she doesn’t get upset easily. Although sometimes she can be pessimistic, overall she’s positive-minded. She’s a rather dull person, and can be slow at reading a situation. Under dangerous occurences, she tends to not backing away and face the danger head first. Some people see her actions as rash, but she always take precautions depending on situations.
Background
When she was just a little baby, she was found alone in the middle of the woods by a group of people from a nearby town. On her, there was a nametag labelled "K. Midori", which the townfols assumed that that was her name. Thus, From that day, she was called Midori. The name K. remains a mystery till this day. She was placed in an orphanage from the day she was found. Although she knew nothing of her parents, it didn't affect her in any way. Still, she always wondered about who her parents were, and who she really is.
The orphanage let her live on her own once she has reached 17. As soon as she was out, she immediately applied for a job in a bakery somewhere in the middle of the town. She's also aquired a small house not far from there. After 2 years of living her normal life, she met Ryuuji and everything changes from there.

Summary
Midori found Ryuuji in the same forest that she was found. Midori was there collecting herbs and fruits for medicine and dinner. The place where she found him was a big, ancient and foreign room. The room was under the ground, and Midori fell through its roof. As weird as to how the room was there in the first place, so does the sight of Ryuuji sitting on what appeared to be a throne, and in a deep slumber.
There was an enchantment spellings forming around him as some sort of a barrier. Midori touched the barrier and it immediately broke (due to her necklace), and Ryuuji was awake, starring at Midori in confusion.

- Midori is considered to be one of the cutest girls in town. (Only guys claimed this)
- Midori's necklace is actually an amulet containing holy powers.
- "Midori" means green in Japanese, representing the color of her hair.
