• Illusions - Born with the ability to create illusions using magic. Some of these illusions are tangible, though these take far more energy to create and will dissipate over time. He is also able to change his own appearance with his magic. If Capri becomes too emotionally distressed, his illusions may take him over as a dissociative defensive mechanism, shielding his eyes as he gets absorbed into his own creations for some time. 
• Shapeshifting - Capri has the ability to transform into a rabbit. This is a natural ability of most rabbit hybrids.

Capri, no matter how you stretch the imagination, could not be said to have had a normal childhood. Capri's living conditions were exceptionally horrific growing up: for him, his 11 siblings, and their mother. Their mother, Asta Lupin, was abducted by their biological father, Nuri Malum, when she was 18 years old due to his malicious obsession with her, and she has since been in captivity in a crumbling building in the middle of nowhere, unable to escape. 

Asta was, understandably, dejected and distinct, being held in captivity for more than half her life. As a result, the remaining children were not very close with her in general and had the run of the house with little to no rules. They fought over scraps of food from the rations Nuri provided, and sometimes the children would lash out at one another for a larger share. Even so, they tended to sleep in a pile, as it was the warmest way. Capri and his triplet siblings, Sagi and Lee, tended to stay in their oldest sister, Vir's company, if with anyone. As she was visually impaired, their oldest brother Emmett tended to look out for her and give her a chunk of his portion, which she then shared among them as they were the youngest and weakest. At this age, and with the mentality of those around them, the triplets did not quite appreciate her kindness and instead took it as a given.

Capri understood that though there was nine of them, apparently there used to be more of them, but it wasn't until he was 5 years old he learned where the others went. When his older brother, Dean, suddenly died one day, instead of being upset, the older siblings, even Dean's twin, saw this as an opportunity. After all, a person had a lot of meat; and they were all hungry. This was one of the rare instances where the siblings all shared; though the sight horrified Capri at first, he eventually got used to this reality; it wasn't exactly the most shocking thing considering all they dealt with on the daily.

It was when Capri was 10 years old that his life would change forever. A roaring blaze quickly overtook the house, and the screams echo in his mind to this day. Capri tried to reach out to Sagi and Lee, who were trapped under some rubble, only to be ripped out of their reach by his oldest brother, Emmett. When Capri was placed outside, overwhelmed by all of the emotions and the horror of it all, he passed out- but not before seeing one of his older sisters, Sadie, smiling as the house burned. He would come to blame her for this event.

Capri does not recall the events which followed. In his distress and from the trauma induced, his illusionary magic completely overtook him. For a long time, he was unreachable: living only in his bubble and unable to hear or feel any outside influences. Eventually, when he did snap out of it, he found himself in a hospital bed. Being in such a large, blank, empty space filled him with terror. Where was he? Why was he here? What happened? In his terror, he tried to run away, only to be caught by one of the nurses. He struggled and bit her several times before eventually giving in due to hunger. Capri was returned to his room. Seeing the burn scar he now bore as he passed the mirror, however, almost made him relapse right back into his illusions.

Eventually Capri would be taken in by one of the firemen who arrived at the scene. Capri would remain with him for around 4-5 years, until Capri attempted to cross a boundary that the man would not allow. Capri was confused by this at the time, and didn't realize until years later that, apparently, adults aren't supposed to date children, so he supposed that's why he was thrown away. Capri didn't feel any guilt. He was just a dumb kid who, due to his unordinary upbringing, had absolutely no awareness of social norms. (He does eventually understand, and, thankfully, shares the viewpoint now.) He lived in a variety of foster care homes, but didn't get attached to any of them. When he turned 18, he moved out.

As he learned more about the world, he learned how to bend people to his whims. If you were successful, people liked you, which meant you got more opportunities in this strange world. More opportunities meant more money, more links, more safety. Capri's primary concern was self preservation, and he would do anything to keep his new way of life. You climb up the ladder to reap the rewards, but not so high up people want to knock you down. You're friendly with people, but not so friendly they get the wrong idea; just enough that they trust you so you can use them when you need to.

To him, his life was now a luxury. He had what he wanted, which actually wasn't a very high demand, whenever he wanted. He had a secure house, with plenty of fire safety measures, mind you. He had a stable job, which provided him with enough money that he could indulge in his hobbies and, most importantly, food. The thing he enjoys above all else is being able to overindulge in food and not having to share it with anyone. He goes out of his way to constantly try new dishes, and has become a skilled chef himself from the interest. It was certainly a massive step up from bugs! Although...something felt missing in this way of living, but he couldn't put his finger on it. Still, he felt, life was so good, it probably didn't matter anyway.

His seemingly perfect life, however, was going to be abruptly interrupted by a very loud, boisterous young woman who crashed into his life with no warning. As Capri's life was endangered by a group of kidnappers one evening, this tiny woman, claiming the name of a hero, "Squee", burst into the scene and rescued him. At first, he could only think he was doomed: Squee was no taller than an average child- in fact, he felt, when he was 10 he was probably taller, and he was malnourished back then. Despite his judgement, however, Squee did indeed prove that the kidnappers were no match for her. 

In his astonishment, and horror, he realized he literally owed his life to this...this...runt. Capri did not like owing favours. At all. He hated the idea that this could be used as leverage over him. Putting on a smile and his sweetest voice, he thanked her with as much sincerity as he could muster, and asked Squee how he could repay her. The self proclaimed detective, at first, wanted to say it her doing the right thing and that she needed nothing. However, with her newly acquired "identity", she quickly realized she would actually need help to maintain the façade as "Squee" while searching for the woman who ACTUALLY owns the name. And so, the two began to work together.

And so, his life, as he knew it, was uprooted and changed forever.

• Due to his albinism, Capri burns quite easily in sunlight.
• Capri also gets sick pretty easily.
• He is ridiculously punctual. He will ALWAYS be on time.
