Tacit

Tacit was made in 4002 as a robotic soldier meant to work for the military. And work for the military they did, killing and doing as their masters willed, now completely desensitized by violence. But now, their memories of their time in the army are vague. They aren't affected by it too much, but they do seem to particularly dislike bringing up specific details, like who, when and where. It's... Personal.

Five years after their creation they were considered outdated, and were to be downgraded and sent out to serve a lesser, more passive function. But in the middle of their modifications, they escaped and disappeared off the army's radar forever.

Now, in the year 4015, they're self-employed in an illegal business. They offer illegal repairs, removals and modifications, as well as smuggling parts. They've been offered a job as a bodyguard numerous times, but always rejected, considering it too high-profile of a job.

In the present, they seem to have developed a personality more coherent than what it was back in the military. The army they were in had a special program to keep their robot soldiers oblivious and subservient, and leaving it did a lot of good for them. Or maybe not. Tacit tries to be passive, and stay out of things, but yet, they can't help but be extremely aggressive. A particularly bad misshap ended in them willingly removing their ability to hear and speak, because of how easily they were moved to violence. Nowadays, they still suffer from some anger issues, but losing their voice and hearing seemed to do some good for them.

Their anger is what tends to get in the way of rationality. They're cold and calculating for the most part, however. It's a bit hard to get them to warm up, but when they consider you a valuable friend ally, they will be obviously caring and protective. They're very blunt about what they feel, but they don't know their own feelings well enough to be truly honest about them.
