♡ Alexander‘s mother had passed away while giving birth to him. She was the only person who could keep his father happy. 
♡ Shawn turned to alcohol to cope with the loss and started getting abusive towards his son, physically and emotionally. 
♡ When Alexander was 6, Shawn mysteriously started disappearing from home for weeks at a time. Alexander had to find whatever scraps of food were available in order to feed himself because he didn’t know how to cook. 
♡ Shawn was never told any information about himself or was allowed to leave home. Shawn terrified him so much as a kid, that even when Shawn was out of the house, Alexander never left. 
♡ One day when he was 12, Alexander decided to leave home because he wanted to know about the world. Shawn found him outside and beat him up for it and left him there. That was when a young dog named Lovely found him and helped him up. She had bandages and put them on Alexander and explained how she hopes to be a nurse one day. Lovely was puzzled when she asked who Alexander was. He didn’t even know anything about him, not even his birthday.  
♡ Lovely hatched a plan to raid Shawn’s things to see if there was a birth certificate or any other information about Alexander. Alexander was afraid to go through Shawn’s things, but Lovely couldn’t stand the abuse Alexander was going through. They found the birth certificate and learned that Alexander was 12 years old and his birthday. Alexander did not even know what a birthday was. Snowy was the first person who ever threw him a birthday party. That was the moment that Lovely became the only thing that mattered to Alexander.  
♡ Lovely and Alexander dated almost a year after meeting. 
♡ Alexander’s mental health became too much for Lovely and she started feeling drained being around him only 6 months into their relationship. She was scared to tell him so she decided to still be with him because she knew he had nothing else in his life. Two months later, Lovely would start to like this guy named Dusty who had the same feelings for Lovely. After a month of flirting with each other, Lovely would break up with Alexander for Dusty. 
♡ Without the only person who ever cared about him, Alexander started spiraling into insanity. He always thought he had nothing, but now he knew he had nothing. Three years after she left, Alexander decided to give up on life. He took Shawn’s gun and ran out into the woods to commit suicide. Shawn, seeing Alexander steal his gun, ran out to Alexander. He started yelling about how much of a burden Alexander was on his life and how he never wanted a son. That was the moment Alexander knew, he didn’t want to kill himself, he wanted to kill Shawn. 
♡ Shawn’s dead body laid on the floor. In a panicked state, Alexander ran back to get a shovel. When he returned a homeless woman was eating Shawn’s body. This woman was Linda, and she made a deal with Alexander to run away together. She can get rid of the evidence and they could stay out of prison. 
♡ They fled out of that rural town and started a new life together with fake identities. Alexander went by the name Eric and was a beloved mailman who always greeted you with a smile. He got married to Linda at 20, had his son Nick at 22 and then Daisy at 24. 
♡ Alexander and Linda were able to live out their murderous dream within their basement, but knew they couldn’t allow their kids inside, told them to never set foot in the basement. 
♡ When Nick was 4, his curiosity got the best of him. He thought his parents were hiding snacks from him. What he found was not any snack he’d ever enjoy. His parents locked him in the basement inside a cage and never let him free. 
♡ When Nick went “missing” the whole neighborhood was out searching for him. Alexander acted like he lost the only son he ever had, but knew where he was all along. Daisy, who was only 2, barely remembers the face of her older brother. 
♡ Five years later, Cookie would be born. Daisy took on the big sister role very quickly. Of course, she had to learn the rules of the basement. We wouldn’t want any other children in there now would we? 
♡ A few months go by and Linda decided to convince Alexander to murder Lovely for all the pain she had given him. The two traveled back to their hometown and found and stalked Lovely. They learned her hospital shift and kidnapped her on her way home. After all those years, Alexander was finally able to break her heart the same way that she broke his.  
♡ When Cookie was 3, she couldn’t sleep one night as she heard weird noises coming from the basement. Daisy heard them too and they decided to take a peak. Linda had forgotten to close the door so the kids got in easily. What they saw was horrifying as they found a man who was still alive but barely recognizable. Cookie even saw Nick locked in a cage and told her to run. She didn’t even know she had a brother. They screamed and tried running back upstairs. Linda had blocked Cookie in her path with a bat in hand, but Daisy ran in front and was hit instead. Cookie ran up stairs but was caught in a chokehold by Alexander. He had put a gun up to her head, but the police were already there once the neighbors called after hearing screams coming from their house. 
♡ Alexander and Linda were charged for all their crimes and placed on death row. Alexander was killed in prison at the age of 44 after being in prison for 9 years.
