Summary

Doom-Evoker is an old hivewing living in the Wasp Hive Hospital and a medic for the military and for regular civilians. She's seen a lot in the 100+ years of her age, the turn of the century, silkwings rights, wars and the own fire which torched her previous life career and wishes to the ground. She can be seen working whenever she can, only stopping when if she doesn't, it drastically harms her.

Personality

Doom-Evoker is a calm, reassuring and caring dragon when she needs to be, especially in work. It takes a lot to see her get angry, and no one in the hospital has seen her get mad for any reason, not even frustrated. When she gets out of work and has the energy to do activities, she tries to be like the young generation, active, motivated, and humorous.

She has always been a hard worker, ever since she was a dragonet in school. She achieved high grades and effort throughout her schooling and continued on that all throughout her life, only seeing a dip in her motivation when something else has happened in her life (such as a death of a friend).

With all her time on Pantala, she had learned and seen all which has happened in that time (such as stricter laws on silkwings), and holds high wisdom. She uses this to stay out of trouble, and to give advice to the much younger soldiers of the Empire whom she sees regularly.

Early Years

The hivewing was born to a loving family in a middle class home. Her father always seemed to work and her mother was deaf and didn’t want too much of her daughters’ attention. It often made Doom-Evoker lonely when she was in the hexagon apartment with no guardian. Through this she learned independence, doing homework by herself and learning to read and write, taking an interest in that subject and expanding her writings to a personal journal she always kept to herself. She wrote about her life, and the story of a fictional character, one whose life was full of adventure and freedom in a distant place where trees weren’t burnt and there were new tribes like ‘Whisper-wings’. Her writings impressed her teacher, who had taken a liking to the dragonet and Doom-Evoker was happy to feel that someone openly spoke to her without it being an obligation. This teacher fostered her love for writing and inspired her to be a journalist for the hives newspaper agency. That began her work, and just like her parents she dove head first into work, and the library became her happy place. During one night in the library, when she was aged twelve, Doom-Evoker sat next to a hivewing o f deep red colour. Eventually, she looked up to see his stunning green eyes and he met hers. They began talking, and eventually set up a date to meet back up in the library. This was her first chance at love, and it quickly came shattering down when her boyfriend began to verbally assault her, then, it turned physical. She was destroyed, and finally snapping she took all the things she had bought him in a fit of rage and destroyed them. Post Fire

She woke up a couple of days later in cleaner air and white, sanitary walls. Her condition remained critical for a while, as the doctors did their best to keep her as comfortable as possible. Turns out, she had caught fire, and burns had managed to reach down to her bones in some areas and approximately 75% of her body was affected. She had also technically died for three-and-a-half minutes, as her heart had stopped just before the door was broken down. She spent a long time in the hospital, and during that time her ‘dream’ career began to change, especially seeing how the doctors helped a lot more to individuals that needed it than a journalist. And that’s what she started to do in the hospital and after, learning a lot of what there is to know about medicine. After a couple of years, she graduated from med school and began working in Yellow-Jacket hive as a doctor at age twenty. Her job wasn’t easy, but she enjoyed the challenge and the smiles and joy on her patients' faces when they were free to go do what they like again after whatever got them into the hospital. It wasn’t until recently when she moved hives, Wasp hive was in need of a specialist like her, and Doom-Evoker not-so-eagerly accepted and moved over to Wasp hive.

Later Years

At age ninety, Doom-Evoker adopted a Russian Grey cat called Estrella, who quickly became a fan favourite at the hospital when she would bring her in for patients to interact with.
