Emoticon seems to smile no matter what. He's been through a lot, he lost his mother and his village was destroyed by Mage Hunters as a kitten, and he unintentionally abandoned his sister in the aftermath. He was then adopted by a mysterious fox named Anvil, who helped him work for Western Media as a Monitor himself. Eventually, Emoticon found out the truth of what happened to his village by a fellow survivor named Reset. He, his sister, Galvanize, and Reset all met up, where Reset announced his plan to destroy part of the Capital as revenge.
