Dacey is an alien from a planet that had been overtaken by some sort of curse or plague, something he was unsure of before fleeing for safety. Dacey turned into a traveler of sorts, moving from planet to planet and space bar to space bar, telling tales and looking for any information of what occurred to his and other planets that seemed to be affected by the same illness.
From what he could gather, it seemed some sacred artifact had been moved in this particular galaxy and...Something happened. Not a lot of information that mostly seemed like an urban legend, mythos, or other such tall tales from the other aliens he had met. Dacey then decided he would find travelers with medical knowledge and take them onboard his ship to hunt for a cure for this horrible disease before it could spread further.
In his travels, Dacey met another alien named Zahir, an optimistic and somewhat cowardly drunk whom had fled his planet for similar reasons. Though not exactly wanting to at first, Dacey takes Zahir on his travels to keep him out of trouble. Later, the two meet a doctor named Ra to help learn about the disease, its spread, and what they should do.
So far, it has not been very successful, but Dacey truly wants to think if he gets enough people on his team, this can be fixed.
