Gamma Leporis (γ Leporis) is the sixth brightest star in the constellation Lepus. The star itself is actually pretty close to Earth, "only" 29 light years away. As such, it was once considered a high-priority target for NASA's Terrestial Planet Finder project (which was unfortunately cancelled in 2011).

Also totally just a rabbit. Nothing funnγ at all going on here.
