Silverwish is a young, promising warrior in Oceanclan trying to make a place for herself in the world and her clan. Despite her small stature and annoying habit of pestering her clanmates, Silverwish is a surprisingly compassionate and caring individual. Once she has found a worthwhile problem to dedicate her time to, Silverwish likely will not rest until the issue is solved.
The lack of a proper father and mother figure in her life has turned Silverwish into a people-pleaser, always taking care of and affirming others while neglecting her own emotional needs and problems. While her fellow warriors can sometimes find her annoying, she is a skilled, swift warrior who evokes her mother in her noble and graceful air.
Silverwish, while often getting on her clanmates nerves, is a kind and energetic personality.
Growing up as a people-pleaser, Silverwish wants nothing more than to impress her father Spidertongue and the clan. Always one to dive headfirst into any responsibility she feels is worth it, Silverwish is constantly compared to her mother. Several older warriors in the clan make remarks about Silverwish sharing her mother's grace and compassion, endlessly curious and willing to reach out to any warrior. Silverwish is incredibly curious and inquisitive, often getting passed around among the clan during kitsitting duty. Her inability to let any issue go, no matter how small, is both a source of annoyance and a promising sign of her future.

Silverwish was raised almost entirely by her mentor and guardian, Otterleap. Spidertongue, mourning his wife, consciously distanced himself from his daughter in an effort to not remind himself of his lost love. Silverwish only learned secondhand from Otterleap that her mother was the leader, as Spidertongue never talked about her mother, or her stillborn siblings.
Although Silverwish did her best job of reaching out to Spidertongue as she got older, she inevitably decided he was not willing to be a dad to her. After the sour awakening, she remained pleasant and friendly to him, learning not to depend on him and treat him as more of a fellow warrior rather than her father. Silverwish is much closer to Otterleap and her fellow warrior, Coastbreeze, than she ever was to Spidertongue.
KITHOOD
Silverwish's mother, Icestar, died shortly after giving birth to the premature Silverkit and her siblings, all of whom did not survive for more than an hour after birth. As the only living kit, Silverkit was treated as a lucky gift to the clan, and many warriors mourned her mother's death. Roseglow, a queen who had her kits just before Icestar, was more than happy to let the incredibly vulnerable Silverkit nurse from her and partially grow up with her own kits, Acornkit and Warmkit. Silverwish grew up loved and adored by Otterleap and her foster siblings, without the presence of Spidertongue.
WARRIORHOOD
After Silverwish processed the information she had been kept from, she immediately became curious. It made no sense to her that her mother gave premature birth out of stress if she was so loved and taken care of by her clan. Silverwish all but launched an investigation, asking any warrior she could find about her mother. Even leaders of other clans were not spared her incessant questioning about Icestar during clan gatherings. The young cat made it her life's mission to figure out what really happened, even as her clan waved it away as an unfortunate accident.

Silverwish appears thin and fragile, but beneath her fur is a wiry body built for agility and flexibility in the water.
Her pelt is mottled with all shades of gray, delving into black at its darkest and a silvery gray at the lightest. The roots of her fur are white. Her mane and tail are noticeably longer and much lighter than the rest of her fur, though parts of her pelt tend to stick out like she wasn't groomed properly. Her claws are always retracted and her tail never droops or drags. Born prematurely, Silverwish only barely reaches Spidertongue's (tall) shoulder. Despite her size, Silverwish is quick on her feet, and a talented swimmer. Able to outrace many Oceanclan warriors in water, Silverwish prefers to aid her fellow warriors rather than be on the frontlines, though she can make an excellent distraction and lure in battle. Her only injury is a small nick on her right ear, being fast and slippery enough to escape any other potential injuries.
When she was younger, Silverkit would pester her father, seeing him as the coolest warrior in Oceanclan and constantly desiring to spend time with him. Silverkit always would go out of her way to make sure she talked to him and had other warriors watch over him even when he wanted to be alone. Young Silverkit didn't understand why her father never seemed to want to hang out, always assuming he was busy or mourning his mate's death.
Spidertongue never felt that close to his kit, even as she matured, and Silverwish has come to terms with that. Though the two are friendly and talk often, Silverwish knows better than to desire a closer relationship to her father, although she respects him greatly and feels sorrow for him.
Silverwish wishes she knew her mother. Growing up hearing wonderful things about the tragically young Oceanclan leader, Silverwish wanted nothing more than to live up to how great of a leader she was, though she knew she never would get the chance to lead. Silverwish desires to know more about her mother and discover what led to her death, believing Starclan's influence to be involved somehow.
Silverwish and Coastbreeze began talking in an unconventional way. Though they had known each other prior, young Coastbreeze began to suspect something sinister happening within the badger's territory near Oceanclan. With a prying Silverpaw following on his heels, Coastbreeze and Silverpaw together began their first serious duty outside of clan knowledge.
Silverwish and Coastbreeze uncovering the plot had a profound effect on her. Clinging to her newfound friend, Silverwish felt much more confident to talk to Coastbreeze about her problems than she could safely share with Otterleap. The quiet, withdrawn cat was a perfect compliment to Silverwish's hyperactivity and selflessness, and the more she spent time with him the more attached to him she became.
When Coastbreeze was chosen to be deputy of Oceanclan following Shimmertail's tragic death, Silverwish felt a surge of pride over Coastbreeze. Her mate had proven himself as empathetic and kind as a good, skilled warrior could be. She knew without a doubt Coastbreeze was a blessing to her, and she couldn't feel any more confident in choosing him as a mate.
