Grand Master Jacque is the eldest of the Grand Masters in both seniority and actual age. The uninformed will see him as a man well past his prime and not fit to stand in the field of battle, though they soon learn the ferocity that is the "Gentleman of the Storm"

In fact, it could be said he's right at home in the midst of a battlefield. He stands tall and proud without flinching even as the tide of battle shifts. He demonstrates the true meaning of trusting your resonator to your fullest.

There are certain eccentricities with his battle manner.

Firstly, when a battle starts, a blizzard will kick up around himself and his opponents in question. It's not clear whether it's because his resonators of choice all perform better within snowy weather or if it is simply a preference of his.

Secondly, he tends to offer advice to his opponents, whether they be official tournament opponents or even assassins. The man simply abhors ignorance to such a degree he can't help but correct his opponent's inexperience

Thirdly and finally, spells seem almost to come from him when in battle. Whether this is just a clever stratagem to throw his opponents off guard, or just the humor of an old man remains a mystery.

The life of this Grand Master hasn't been an easy one, however. Losing his wife and son at a young age, he chose not to give into despair and instead do what he had to in order to protect any smiles he could. No one in recent memory has seen anger, sadness or anything but positivity from this man; but perhaps it's because he's already spent a life-time's worth of those emotions so early on.

• There are rumors he has close ties with Seres the time sage. 
  • This is due to his penchant for predicting the future, albeit the man himself says he simply has exceptional pattern recognition.
• His resonators are treated more like his own children rather than tools or co-workers. 
• He really dislikes deserts and beaches, preferring other locales
  • The chief complaint being how sand tends to get everywhere.
