STORY

Early life

many years ago, a diurnal family of nine got a surprise when a nocturnal coelune was born. The planet they inhabited was known for its short and rare nocturnal cycles. Somehow, Eclipse had been born in the spare moments of the cycle, giving the family quite the scare.

Youngest of seven brothers, Eclipse worked along side them on the family farm, tussling with her brothers, hunting for sport, and tending to the crops. She stuck out like a sore thumb compared to the rest of her family, and was always sort of ashamed of it.

Years past and Eclipse started to realize that they were not, in fact, a boy. Scared of her family's potential reaction, she made the decision to run away. Packing her belongings, she mentally bid farewell to her brothers and took off, away from her home planet.

Eclipse had no plan, nowhere to go, no one to meet. Scared but excited, she decided to make home on a cold barren planet, staying there for years alone in solitude. It gave them time to figure themselves out and mourn the loss of their family. She often wondered what her family would've said if she didn't run and came out to them. She could never know.

Meeting Ophiuchus

After many years, a nocturnal coelune arrived on the planet. He was shocked to see someone else there, introducing himself as Ophiuchus, and asked if she had seen a certain gemstone around. She hadn't, so the two searched together. Eclipse ended up travelling back with him, and found herself hired by the freighter Ophi worked for.

And thus began her bodyguard career. Going on adventures and missions with Ophiuchus, the two found themselves close friends and eventual roommates.

Unlikely encounter

On one mission, they were sent to follow up on a new found crystal on some farmland. As they went to meet the owner, Eclipse was shocked to be face to face with her brother, JD. Both of them stood there awkwardly, just taking in the situation. Neither thought they'd see each other again.

After a very long winded explination, JD was accepting (in an awkward way, but he's trying). Their sibling relationship was growing once more, easily falling back into the old days when they were kids. Keeping in contact, Eclipse is happy to have her brother back.

• It took Eclipse awhile to find her aesthetic, going through several before settling on traditional goth
• They have quite the stuffed animal collection, mainly consisting of bat plushies
• She has quite the aim, learned from when she went hunting as a kid

Friends

Ophiuchus walked into Eclipse's life and turned her world upside down. Whle it threw her off guard, she's glad he came along and found her.

Silvertooth
Friendly rivals

They met at an arcade during a carnival. They ended up having a competition on a buckshot game. Silvertooth wants a rematch someday.

JD
Brother

Eclipse never expected to see any of their family again, but somehow the universe put these two back together. Although awkward at first, they've grown close again, Eclipse coming to visit JD every now and then.
