Calm - Cold - Mysterious.

Not much is known about Vinay. His brother, Vinoot (or, commonly called Nootnoot), and him are old, very old Ufogs.

Some rumours even says that they are the children of the White Queen, born before the Prism war.
But neither brothers ever answered this question - NootNoot, because other than making weird screams and noises, don't speak, and Vinay, because he never considered anyone worth having an answer.

Vinay don't speak much, and prefer staying in his quiet little domain, far from the colonies. But don't get fooled by his soft and calm look - for he is not one to be messed with. Even the current Queens prefer not crossing path with him. ____ Centuries ago, before Ufogs even set foot on Earth, they were the apex predators of their own planet. The entire species was ruled by the Mother of All, overseeing amm the Ufogs, big and small. Several intendants were set to rule portions of her territory, but ultimately, she was the one owning everything.
It would be a lie to say she was loved by all, and soon a few intendants, hungry for power, decided to start a mutinery, revolting against their Mother, trying to overthrow her and her reign.
The older Ufogs today would tell you about this era, refering to it as the Prism War. Blood roared from every side, the loyal Ufogs who served the Mother of all, later rebaptised the White Queen, opposed to the ones following the few Intendants who promised change and power. Those same Intendants today are called... the Queens, of the colonies we know today.
Treason and trickery reverser the power in order. The White Queen was killed on the battlefield, with two of her children. But two others escaped, survived, hiding from the winners of the war that were determined to end the entire bloodline of the White Queen. The legitimate heir of the Mother of All were a threat to their new world ruled by several queens. If the Ufogs remaining loyal to the White Queen were to follow those two descendants, it would only bring chaos. But it was not the only reason why they wanted them dead and gone...
While Vinoot was only a tiny child at that time, Vinay was fighting alongside his mother and brothers. His wit and strenght were known and feared, and even out-numbered, he managed to keep his battallion fighting several days and night. Of course, his unit ended up captured or killed, but he was still fighting teeth and claws. Never would he surrender to jis ennemies. He was ferocious, and feral. Like a wounded animal, using his last strenght to defend himself.
But when he witnessed his Mother, whom he always believed was almighty and immortal, fall, he lost his composure. Abandonning the battlefield, he intervened just in time to take the main orb of his Mother before the Intendants - or, the Traitors, as he called them- managed to destroy it, and therefore saved the last bit of her lifeforce, and ran. He ran, to fetch his baby brother, and escaped. Half mad, half dead, and carrying a child and the remnant of her dead mother, he was always on the run. Escaping their pursuers, fighting to find food for the two of them. And pouring his own lifeforce into the prism that was the orb of the Mother of All to restore it.
He discovered by accident that the prism was capable of absorbing other Ufogs lifeforce. That's when his madness grew in intensity, and that's the exact reason why Vinoot is terrified of his brother - because he witnessed the depth of Vinay's dispair and the hartred of his older brother, turning into cruelty.

It is still not known what kind of power the Prism is holding, but two things are certains. One, it contains a terrifying amount of lifeforce amassed upon centuries, making it the most powerfull and conveted artefact, and two, that if you somehow managed to find Vinay's hiding spot, you don't stand a chance against him and will end up feeding the Prism.

That's the very reason for which the Queens are today in a difficult position. While they know he is a huge threat, the risk of attacking him on his own territory and growing his powers even more sounds like a too big of a threat. Vinay is intelligent, crafty, and cruel, so they must lay their cards carefully. And make sure to stop him before it's too late...
