Lance used to be a rather cheerful kid! He had his tantrums every now and then, but was mostly a positive lad who tried to make friends with everyone! Lance was also rather naïve and for a long time tried to become friends with his bully Damien too. However, in 2008 after Damien didn't show up for their playdate at the playground and he got attacked by a vampire, he slowly became more bitter, distant and angry. The event left him quite traumatised and partially deaf. Throughout his recovery period he had the tough task of learning BSL while also battling a rather serious depression. He'd slowly do better with the help and care of his parents and his brother Lucas. Lucas would learn BSL alongside him and encourage him to eat and talk and push on. It was fine for a while, until Lucas and his parents got attacked by some zombies in 2011 and he and Liam had to move to their grandmother's place in Auterhol.
