He was born without eyes. Because of this he was quite weak as a baby. Whenever he got too excited or sad he started bleeding from his eye sockets, but it was never too lethal or anything. As he grew up that feature faded and he became stronger and sturdier.
Liam always needed a lot of care and attention, but when his older brother Lance got bitten by a vampire when he was 5, all that attention went to him, and Liam was kind of out of the picture. So to get any attention Liam started lashing out and getting into trouble. He stole little trinkets by putting them in his empty sockets, started skipping school, broke into abandoned buildings... It was a lot. His parents genuinely tried to give him more attention, but in the end Liam stayed rebellious and kept going until his brother Lucas and his parents were hospitalised in 2011.
