Plant the Seed
Born the beloved child of a single Verbena mother, there wasn't a time in Adair's life where he didn't accept magic. The little magic of the world and all her gifts was part of his upbringing, and that was before Danu gave him her gifts to the world. He was always an introverted kid, growing up half-homeschooled until hitting high school, where he met Lynn.
Initially bonding over a shared love of odd fiction, Lynn was more of a bad influence on Adair then he could initially admit. A prying skeptic, she tried to invalidate and undermine Adair's gifts and worldview, to the point where he started to lose connection to it. Now, unbeknownst to him, Lynn's end wasn't to just get his head out of the woods...
Here comes Spring
...Lynn was an acting agent of the Technocratic Union, aiming to recruit Adair and completely destroy his mystic ties. This failed, as during a breaking point Adair awoke as a Verbena, in an act of wild magic that immediately grounded him and broke him free- or so he thought.
He's still struggling to undo the programming Lynn had put in his head, but through a rigourous education through the Order of Hermes, a loving support system, and more magic around him then ever, there is hope at the other side.
